2024-09-18 16:34:42 +0000 UTCWhile I'm with Alicia on that she shouldn't fake reactions and should just go with what she feels The people who are upset about her reactions aren't completely in the wrong either The story puts a lot of emphasis on Vergos Armament Haki and as such it is expected to be a shocker when he reaveals the full body haki As for Law cutting the whole mountain I think it might just be a scaling issue It might not look like much but this was the biggest swordsman feat so far Next would be Mihawk cutting the ice at marineford Even Zoro has only been able to cut something as big as the palace room on fishman island up till now But yeah Alicia was not wrong in having those expectations of these characters from the start either

"When it's introduced by Rayleigh, he refers to it as an 'invisible' coating, so it seems the 'base' version of Armament Haki is invisible. Additionally this seems to create an invisible shield of sorts as Sentoumaru, the Admirals, Rayleigh and the Hancock sisters are able to create some barrier-like shields using Armament Haki. The 'black' Haki that we see after the timeskip is an advanced application called "Koka" ("Hardening"). While it hasn't been confirmed, it's implied that this attack is stronger than the invisible Haki, but it depends entirely on the user. A lot of people on this sub also comment that the only reason we didn't see black Armament Haki before the timeskip (i.e. Marineford) was because Luffy couldn't 'see' it himself, therefore the audience couldn't either. Personally I don't really agree with this considering we have seen Luffy use invisible Haki after the timeskip, so it doesn't really fit in. Ultimately it seems as though we have only been introduced to the 'basic' principles of Haki, we have definitely seen some out of the ordinary feats with Observation Haki, Armament Haki and Conquerors Haki."

Or some similar simpy joke. Otherwise everything else, meh fuck it, we knew all that was coming. We knew a full body hardening dude would show up, and they keep up sizing what Law can cut.
