:3 woo

By the way, the number code discussion there referencing that well known code, it no longer exists. That code got wiped from the site. Part of a copyright take down from another H supplier site.

I loved Zenith btw! So sad...

MIce1987

Thwy did guve reason in ep1 he outright states he wants to be god and make a wirld people live in he just foegets that in two years

demonic-myst

Correct, what you're misunderstading however is the term 'game world', it means 'world that is like a game' ie: Overlord, not an actual in-game world like SAO, its a very similar situation but ultimately it is different.

Lewd Angel

Kirito: Is that a cat? Don Fluffels: Vengeance at last...

RedRam-Ipsen

Hey, Alicia you should watch Hellsing: Ultimate abridged after this one, it's really good!!

Nim

@Jay Correct. To quote Yui: "No it is not. That is not at all what Irony is. I believe the turn of events *you* described, would be best classified as: Completely expected! ^^ "

DaniDeFig

Hearing about Zenith reminds me of a game I used to play, an old BYOND Final Fantasy fangame called Final Fantasy Legacy. It was great. A friend and I beat the main story several times. Once we abandoned a child on the moon.

Watching this episode on release date, not knowing if there will be more, that coin being inserted at the end meant SO MUCH for so many of us

Shank Mugen

You don't need to be stuck in Another World for it to be Isekai. Alice in Wonderland can be considered today as Isekai as she traveled to another world where rules of our world did not apply wholly. "Isekai (Japanese: 異世界 transl. 'different world', 'another world', or 'other world') is a genre of fiction. It includes novels, light novels, films, manga, anime, and video games that revolve around a displaced person or people who are transported to and have to survive in another world such as a fantasy world, game world, or parallel universe with or without the possibility of returning to their original world." -Wikipedia From already translating word it means you don't have to be stuck there.

Kampela

Don't worry it's just a virtual fish (j/k)

Lexi

Hearing that Zenith is closing down sucks. Ever since you talked about it, I wanted to try it once I got a VR headset of my own eventually.

tellurium_allure

I thought the one he wrote was one showing that the events of the series were a part some kind of production, like a show, rather than being "real", for lack of a better word.

tellurium_allure

That was not ironic, it was done on purpose :)

Jay (aka Kairukurumi)

OG SAO: It's funny i can't even remember

Random3x

I agree with you

Tyler Owens

I love that at the end of credits; with people wondering if we are even getting a season 2; we hear a quarter being put into the arcade cabinet...beautiful.

Tyler Owens

I want to remark this because I damn well remembered it from a previous episode. When Kirito got his new sword it specifically said it was a "Slashing" type weapon. Why on earth would he try to use it for a piercing attack? That was a poor move.

YukoValis

Nope, because all of those are isekai, they are not stuck in a VR digital world, they've been moved to an entirely different universe. SAO, despite the common misconception, is not an isekai

Lewd Angel

Given your description of your zenith character I think you might like "the wrong way to use healing magic".

michael holmes

177013 was so dark that the author even wrote an alternative ending with Josuke coming in clutch to be a hero.

Okoga

I doubt getting stuck in VR would be like SAO, more believable would be Overlord (Dark Fantasy), Skeleton Knight (Dark Fantasy that you start to fix) or Re:Zero (Dim Fantasy and you are F***ED, not sexual way!)

Kampela

To be fair, while 177013/Metamorphosis is not great for hentai purposes, unless you're really into the certain themes of the manga, it is surprisingly well-written, good read, even if quite depressing one. That's a bummer about Zenith. I hadn't heard of it until your mentions either. If the game is really that good and all it needed was more marketing, perhaps you could make a deal with the devs sometime to try and revive it with a publicity campaign, while coordinating it with some bigger streamer friends to get more hype around it. I do hope WillGlacier in chat got perma banned for constantly spam screaming spoilers for what they do with the next arc, despite everyone, including mods shouting at him to shut the f up ;P

Dasher

The coin inserted at the end was how they told us they would keep abridging the show. They purposefully didn't say anything before abridging this episode and it was the first sensible end point. This show is just amazing. It starts off just being awesome jokes with SAO as a background (Like the Mythril Pebble of Pig Smiting, still one of my favourite jokes in the show, up there with You can call me Tiffany.), but by this final episode they manage to actually make the story superior to SAO. We get a coherent reason for Kayaba's fuck up... and a janitor getting the ultimate compliment. While i think i prefer DBZA over this all in all, this is the only abridged show i would call strictly better than the original.

Miklar Sihn

To be unfairly charitable to man digging his own grave, there a canonical alternate ending to Metamorphosis where Josuke and Okaysu come across her and save her. For my own psychological health, I've done everything in my power to avoid the cursed meme, regardless.

Marion Ette

Ironically Kayaba's motivation here is better than the explanation in the actual show.
