FNAF Movie

WARNING Flashing lights! Also :3 getting ready for October wooohooo

Comments

I'm not the biggest FNAF fan, so I wasn't as excited as my friends when they dragged me to see this in theaters. I do really love Scream though, so when they had Matthew Lillard show up as the killer, and do the signature Ghostface Knife wipe I absolutely lost it.

Damian Fuentes

I wonder if you'll do zombie movies, not shows. The resident evil serious is my favorite and that's only because I grew up watching them as a child. Resident evil is what made me fall in love with zombie stories, games and movies

UndeadNovaKing 0

This is for the fans. As a older fan, I liked it. As a movie, its pretty bad. But as fanservice, it will live on. To really appreciate this you have to have a good understanding of the lore back when it was only the first two games, after that the lore should be ignored to enjoy this movie because of how complicated it gets.

Ditto Demo123

She missed a mid-credits scene...

pyrohawk69

Yeah film def relied on those member berries and kids to make bank. Ngl the ending is just comically bad to me. Not the whole Afton part but the happily ever after for Mike and his sister. Him and the Aunt was in a known bidding war for custody of the sister then the aunt turns up dead in MIKE’S house and nothing is mentioned at all?!!?!?!! Ever if you go with golden Freddy hid the body still no questions? You have 2 parties that clearly hate one another one of which has a documented assault on record and no questions when one turns up missing. Then you have the same guy bringing Vanessa, a wounded police officer, to the hospital who then goes into a coma. Did no one ask what happened? How is Mike not a suspect? If he did tell them what happened why wasn’t the pizzeria searched? I don’t know could just be my mind over thinking shit but gd this ending is a mess

Nightmareman99

Yea but she didn't pay attention to half of it though, having too much fun talking with others than reacting to the video

Y0GE

Just so you know Alicia, they're already making the second movie

Joyo Boy

I remember watching this movie in the theater with my friends, and we couldn't stop laughing at how bad it was. When we left, one of my friends came up to me and said, "Actually, you didn't understand the movie" and I was surprised, like, how does he not find the whole sequence of building a fort out of furniture absurd?

Accel

Thanks

Aaro Tiljander

Film Theory talks about this movie and how the lore is similar while also different

Tyler Owens

lol for me it was Kin, Into the spider-verse, bumble bee, then fanf

Ja’Maine Lee

Love they got MattPatt and the LivingTombstone's song at the end

Icy

“Hell House LLC” or “Glorious” are two slightly lesser known horror movies that are good. I wouldn’t say glorious has too many jump scares though.

Infectid

Having watched this again through your lenses, I can definitely see the points you guys make. One of the things that I enjoy the most about fnaf as a whole is how much people like to talk about it. This movie was a fun new thing for the community to experience and enjoy together, so I’m perfectly fine that it’s not a critically acclaimed film, I had fun talking about it with my friends.

Broccoli Ben

Great reaction Alicia, hopping over to the next movie!

Joey Cat

Thank you lore master, you get a cookie ^^

Joey Cat

You guys have had your lore completely wrong for the whole movie : - Vanessa is the antagonist of Security Breach, she's controlled by Afton and chases you around as Vannie, wearing a bunny mask, for the entire game. - Afton's competitor, then associate, was Henry. Mike Schmidt is the name taken by Michael Afton, William's son, to get hired as a security guard in FNAF 1 and 2 without his father knowing about it, so that he could free the souls of the children killed by William. Henry's daughter was killed by William and became the Marionnette, and Henry tried to end everything in Pizzeria Simulator by burning down the remaining animatronics, only to have Afton survive and get trapped inside the hell that is Ultimate Custom Night by the spirit of Cassidy, while the rest of the animatronics kinda fused together into a sort of blob. - The movie doesn't follow the main story, it just borrows from it. While Afton does get trapped into a suit, he's cornered by the spirits led by Cassidy, the one inside Golden Freddy. Mike isn't supposed to be here, and since he's William's son in the games it's clearly a different story, and Vanessa isn't his daughter, she gets brainwashed way later while playing a VR game. William's true daughter was Elizabeth, the one controlling Circus Baby. Also, in the original story, William was dismantling the animatronics to use the Remnant and Agony stored inside them, the weird things that could make him immortal. He wasn't controlling them to get more victims.

KeterLordFR

- Alicia and Koma start talking about why Mike isn't apply for government assistance programs Ah hell yeah. This is why I come to this channel.

Jacob

This was the first movie I saw in theaters since the Mario Movie, before that it was Detective Pikachu

Broccoli Ben

Ya'll should definitely check out the movie Willy's Wonderland (yes, I know the name is very sus) with Nick Cage in it as it's lead. It came out a bit before this movie dropped as a fun little adjacent in theme type of movie.

Noire K. Vector

Doooooo iiiiiitttt!🤣😂 That would be great and have rich join you. The two of you dogging on movies would be great 👍

UndeadNovaKing 0

never would have thought i'd see this a third time, but here we are now. i give it 3/10 as well but had quite a bit less to say lol

Yagi di Hoshi

Lol I know this is random but they make family sized stoffers meals

Joseph Adams

Is it me or the video wont load on app nor the web version and when it loads it keeps buffering? I play other video they work fine but only this one keeps crashing

Andhy thomas

I love how they both just forget that the Springtrap suit is the Golden Bonnie suit for most of the movie and are just confused every time the movie referenced a yellow rabbit. Also, shame they missed the actual sequel bait part of the credits

Jordan

yeah, i can see why some people didn't like this movie, especially you guys kind of, and that you kinda do need to be a fan to get these references, but i still think it was amazing.

Gavin Bickel

They made this movie with the goal being to make a movie for the fans, not the gen audience. Was it a bad call? Maybe, but it WAS on purpose.

The Canadien Patriot

She's done a whole deep dive on her aliciaxdeath channel

J-Rod

The Conjuring Series

Tyler Owens

If your looking for a good jump scare movie check out Drag Me to Hell. Its not new (2009) but its pretty good in my opinion.

J-Rod

Holy crap, just randomly dropping the full fnaf movie huh? This movie was definitely made directly for the fans. It’s still watchable without knowing what fnaf is, but it’s entirely more enjoyable if you’ve been apart of the community for a while

Broccoli Ben

Honestly, it's a decent "baby's first horror movie" but I think they went wrong with marketing it AS a horror movie. I'm a pussy and expected to be terrified yet got hit with almost a paranormal thriller. If it the genre was marketed better, I think the audience would have accepted it better. Just my thoughts.

Kennedy H

there's family sized stouffers of certain meals like mac and cheese and enchiladas

Sketchy0w0

The explanation I came up with is that afton would see Garrett's name come up in the news. Missing child and all that. I've never read the novels though, are they good?

Sam Smith

NGL I quite enjoyed watching this!

Quinton Macejkovic

One Piece?

Damian DeBord

How much do you know the lore?

Icy

Have you ever seen Signs? It's a great scary movie!

Robert C. Dona

I still wish they just adapted the first FNAF novel into a movie, it could hold up pretty well, and it's technically easier for people not in the know to digest it, instead of a video game movie it's just another movie that's adapting a book you never heard about. Also, my guess for the Mike Schmidt name drop at the end, is that Afton knew his name back when he took Garret, that's why he never finished saying the name at the start, he was shocked, and that's why he gave him the job, all so he could have fun toying with the brother of a previous victim and finish the job. Thanks for the reaction.

Gearhead4805

Fun fact, the security guard in the first scene was the role Markiplier was supposed to play but due to scheduling with the iron lung film he is making he couldn't attend filming.

beanz

A few things to mention about this movie. They only had a budget of 20mil. They used 12mil to create all the animatronics thanks to Jim Henson's Creature Shop. Most people had an issue with the fort building scene which I can see why but Scott wanted in to show that they are really just kids inside the animatronics. I agree the pacing was slow in the beginning and they could have done better with the horror. My hope is that for the next movie they do turn up the horror aspect since the 2nd game is scarier than 1st.

Innominatus

You know what you should watch a guy who beats the ever living shit out of animatronics starring Nicholas Cage the movie aka willy's wonderland.

Chase heo

In Security Breach Vanessa is an obstacle for the player to dodge, at one point putting you in a security office to wait till morning.

Gearhead4805

ngl, thought at the start we was talking about different Deliverence *Insert dueling banjos*

Marion Ette

Wow was not expecting this lol. Thank you for the lunch break video :)

Fromsoftenjoyer

Scott Cawthon said in a interview that the main goal of the movie was to make the fans happy. He mentioned that he wouldn't care if critics hated it, as long as the fans liked it, it was considered a success

Kachowgga

Is she doing movies now. Hope she does Lord of the rings Extended editions.

NandoTNT

All American Rejects reference 21 minutes in? Sweet

Gearhead4805

Honestly I didn't care for the movie. Willy's Wonderland is a far better experience. This one I was kind of bored and the PG-13 rating meant a lot was not shown. Also hear me out here... it is a bit of an insult to the FNAF lore. This movie is supposed to take place in an alternate timeline to the games. That means any callback to said games is entirely meaningless. We have no idea if they are the same thing as in the games, but you are expected to look at the references and now assume they are exactly like how they are in the games. The only thing that made this worth watching again is Alicia. : )

YukoValis

I hate jumpscares 😭😭

Hassan Ali

Fnaf isn't even scary bro 😭😭😭

Douglas Ribeiro

OH WOW THAT'S SO AWESOME !!!!!

Django Yvel Lirssen

Would love to watch it but I’m terrified of horror films lmao 😭😭
