In truth, magic man is doing these rookies a favor. This insane fantasy land is filled with reality altering wizards, you have to always be weary travelling. Maybe it’s just my personal issues with having autonomy, but when my depression prevents me from doing something I’m genuinely interested in the frustration at that notion, that something in my brain is trying to force my hands off the steering wheel, gives me the willpower to overpower my depression.

Personally, I had an English teacher who just sucked in terms of grammar, pronunciation, spelling, even idioms, but acted high and mighty regardless. Out of spite, I decided to document all of her mistakes, along with the date, time, an explanation of the mistake and a correction. I learned this entire language by sheer spite.
