I'm sure plenty of other people have said this, but One Piece's anime pacing is god awful compared to the manga, which is dense and overall very fast paced (if you binge it). That doesn't justify it, you're judging the anime and not the manga after all, but this annoying jumping around is not this big of an issue. The excessive repeated flashbacks are also not an issue, just fluff. Edit: also, Zoro canonically has the biggest breasts on the ship.

About how nobody sees the Tantatas: It's that they move too fast for people to see more than a blur AND that they're tiny. Nobody is expecting to see a tiny person, so their eyes just pass right over them. Which is ALSO why they didn't see her in Zoro's boobs; nobody was looking for a tiny person when they were looking at the guy talking to himself. And even if they DID see a Tantanta, they probably just assume it's a toy running around.

Lewd Angel, her issue with the show has nothing to do with the length, but the way Oda himself develop plotlines. Most anime have an A/B, maybe a C plotline during an arc, and each one will be focused on until their conclusion when they merge into the overall narrative. OP has a similar setup of multiple sub-plots in an arc, but instead will jump from one to another and develop them in bits and pieces until they converge into the climax. This could be easily remedied if it focused on Plot A, then Plot B, and so on one at a time, but that simply isn't Oda's brand of narrative structure. So instead it's Plot A/B one episode, then C/D, then A/D, etc. That's more so what Alicia seems to have an issue with.

I had forgotten, but I love Cavendish ^^ I'm sure it started here, when he stands up for Rebecca. And yes, that megaphone is so extra. Which is great, because his outfit and mannerisms are already extra. Good to hear you reflect on how you didn't fully express all your thoughts on Law saying he was saving Room. Your logic is sound. He was using it fairly liberally in Punk Hazard. My interpretation is that he is THAT scared of Doflamingo, and being who he is wanted to be EXTRA sure he had all the resources possible if he had to fight him. I think Law knows he can't beat Doflamingo, but figured that maybe, if he had ALL his strength he might be able to ESCAPE a fight with Doflamingo. Maybe. But no, the show doesn't make that clear, if it's the case. It's great to see you improve your craft :)

yeah that website is an archive for thousands and thousands of patreon pages, often allowing people to access content for free, a lot of reaction content is there too, i used to use the site occasionally for some reaction content when i was unable to keep my patreon subscriptions consistently, unfortunately not much you can do since as long as they are subbed to the patreon they can keep anonymously uploading the content to the site. well there is some shenanigans you can do with having discord roles linked to patreon in order to access the vids for example

I know people have said the pacing in the anime and the manga were bad at this arc (i didn't mind the manga), but the anime is way worse about it. That scene with Doflamingo was stretched out, and there was no cutaway at that point. The manga does do a good bit of jumping around given how split up they all are, but I'll be glad when they get to this in the remake. If you do plan on watching that, I'll be curious to see if that improves your experience, because I'm certainly looking forward to less fluff.

This is indeed part of it, notice how most of the gladiators are the same barely wearing any protection, the only people fully clothed are those not wearing armor because the clothes aren't so heavy as to weigh them down.

Fairies/tontattas arent just fast, they are tiny, so easily are mistaken for flowers, toys or decorations or covered on some clothes as she did in this episode so is harder to see them. Is not invisibility, is a 'perception camouflage/filter' and as the drummer said on the restaurant, is a "popular tradition", not a law, to just ignore them Bluey in zoro's shirt is easily mistaken for a blue flower or something

Most of Dressrosa happens in a small amount of time

20:52 I feel like it's kind of the point that her armor is not very practical, think of it less like gladiator armor more a prison uniform/ball & chain combo. It's thin and skimpy so it parades her around like a piece of meat to embarrass her in front of the Country that hates her and maybe get in the way of her movements like you described, it seems to be made entirely of gold which is both heavy and soft making it useless as armor just ask any Minecraft player, and finally the shininess of said gold makes her an easily spotted target by the gladiators who want to kill her and the audience who want to see her bleed out.

This arc is so drawn out and padded in the anime it has almost 20 more episodes than the manga! Normally manga is adapted at around the rate of 3-5 chapters per episode, and the manga had 101 chapters! Seriously one of the worst parts of the anime, Father is already feeling the bloat.

Firstly, Soldier-san is undoubtedly the MVP of this arc. Secondly, I love the little detail in Rebecca’s flashback where despite her claiming that she only lived with her mother, the dinner table had three chairs instead of two, indicating that her memories have been altered. Thirdly, it’s good that Luffy called out the ridiculousness of hating Rebecca for what her grandfather did, since the main reason the Marines wanted to execute Ace had less to do with his actions as a member of the Whitebeard pirates, and more with the fact that he was the son of Roger, who he had nothing to do with other than a linage he never even asked for.
