You're really misremembering how Sanji and Brook used to be. Sanji was always a simp and Brook was always mainly comic relief with a sprinkling of badass moments and heartbreak

And again, especially in this arc, most of the issue with how the characters take forever to do things is the anime padding TF out of everything so things that were only a page or two in the manga take up like five minutes of standing around in shock. Once Sanji got over his nosebleed bit, hes been exactly the same as he was since we met him, and since Brook wasn't centerpiece since Thriller Bark hes been the same he always was, dunno what she on about with they're doin them dirty but, they haven't changed at all

He became manic from the happiness of being with others. And just became more manic as time went on. He still is a capable member of the Strawhats but he is and always will be a funny crazy guy.

One Piece was all about being smart and countering the enemy tricks (mainly Devil Fruit) and styles or employing your own before time skip. These days you see something cool that is not a Devil Fruit and go "Oh, that's neat!" only for it to be revealed as Haki instead. I like Haki overall but it's way too much of a multi-tool at the moment.

Law had his own heart on the sunny, which he retrieved it now, and he had Caesar's inside his body, in place of his own heart. So you were correct both times technically? Which is the best kind of correct XD.

2024-10-03 13:47:44 +0000 UTCJust as a side note because Rebecca briefly said it when telling her backstory to Luffy and in this episode, in the past Rebecca's mom told her she shouldn't hurt people so in memory of her mother she doesn't want to injure anyone. Not sure how to judge it though given she makes them fall into the water with the giant angry attack fish but nobody's perfect I guess. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
