This is my third time round with Dressrosa, and it just hit me that Bartolomeo and Bellamy are both Fanboys. I'll keep an eye out, to see if any good comparisons /contrasts are highlighted in the show. My brother, who was in highschool at the time, had some friends over and they understood when the reason I gave was "Robin's Past"... this was half of my life ago, back before brook had an english voice actor. I remember watching dressrosa weekly and how I didn't realize it was sabo ffrom the silhouette, or how I didn't recognize that koala was a character we've seen before because it had been months since they were mentioned. One Piece raised me and I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing...

As usual, Alicia's reaction to the reveal did not disappoint. I seen a lot of comments of people who felt just like me, sitting here waiting for it. Listening to the way she talk about the 3 of them, and them BAM, one of the most tear-inducing moments in the show. I'm just glad I finally found someone who cries more than me during it. Its been a whole-ass anxiety building ever since we entered Dressrosa, knowing its just around the corner.

There are a lot of scenes in the show that if you miss them, then you get totally surprised later on. Like in this case missing the scene of Dragon saving Sabo way back then, even though you don't see Sabo in the scene it's heavily implied it's him. Who else would he be fishing out of the water in the same area? Though I can't remember if I caught on to it during my first watch or not. I completely missed the Koala thing myself as well as the Aokiji mention a while back during my initial 2 watches. It's some of the little things here and there and it can be hard to catch everything.

I'm not 100% sure but there was a meme going around with the both of them being Simps for Luffy You know Alicia loves one piece when she's crying over sabo's return. I love watching your reactions to one piece, you emotionally react to how everybody reacts to every scene. When you're crying during certain scenes, everybody has at least cried once during those scenes. You bring out the emotion that we all had during those and I love it. AFAIR Dragon never says that he saved him. The real hints come when Dragon's ship anchors before Zoro's village in the flashback. The dialogue we have there only makes sense if Dragon (who is clearly not injured at all) transported someone in a dire condition to the ship. And we knew from before that Dragon wanted to watch the arrival of the Celestial Dragon.
