2025-01-09 21:01:34 +0000 UTCYeah. I know people love Senor Pink. And I'll be honest, I realise my dislike of him is probably amplified by how much love he gets and then feeling frustrated about people daring not to share my opinion. Still. I know I had the complete opposite reaction compared to most. Didn't have a problem with the guy at first. He was just a goofy weirdo. But his backstory massively put me off. Again, it's hard to articulate without going into spoilers, so I won't try. I'm sure I'll get into a debate later when we get to those episodes. XD

2024-10-08 21:05:43 +0000 UTCW Alicia, I appreciate not spoiling MHA :)

2024-10-08 12:13:45 +0000 UTCReally, this is the first I've seen people hate Senor Pink. He's one of the most beloved characters to come out of this arc after his backstory dropped. Rebecca on the other hand, man the hate that girl receive from the fanbase when this was dropping weekly was generational LMAO

2024-10-08 06:19:49 +0000 UTCI see baby on screen we have yet to hear Alicia endearingly say "IT'S A BABY". I wonder why the cruel treatment of a real one.

2024-10-08 02:59:18 +0000 UTCIt's what I assume too. But, without spoilers, I will just say I also really dislike his backstory.

2024-10-07 14:46:24 +0000 UTCDisagree on that, the only reason he recognized Luffy as Lucy was because he came up close and screamed out his name while Law was getting the shit kicked out of him, a blind man can make the connection there. Its way harder recognizing someone from a tv screen while they're not facing the camera directly. Doffy is smart, but he's not that smart, he couldn't have predicted Sabo showing up and Luffy actually allowing someone to switch out with him to win the fruit, him having holes in his knowledge and perception does not make him 'dumbed down', it makes him a well written, belivable character that gains his intelligence and information in a logical manner.

2024-10-07 12:29:12 +0000 UTCAll the hype is for his backstory probably lmao. Not whatever he does currently

2024-10-07 09:58:47 +0000 UTCI'm convinced at this point that the actual reason this is specifically a pirate story is that if Zoro was NOT forced to get on the boat, he would've disappeared after season one and the rest of the anime would be chasing him cross country. At least if he gets lost on an island the crew doesn't have to look THAT FAR for him

2024-10-07 07:51:22 +0000 UTCTramp got used probably because it works better in English. As for Senor Pink, same. He's not cool, he's just weird, if not a bit pathetic.

2024-10-07 07:38:45 +0000 UTCI don't know why the subtitles in this arc suddenly decided to call every woman a tramp. I might be missong something, but to me all the characters are saying is "that woman" (ano onna) in a condescending tone... which I guess fits, but it's weird that every single instance gets translated by "that tramp" or "that bitch". Also, unrelated, I never got the hype for Senor Pink. I really don't get it.

2024-10-07 05:29:13 +0000 UTCi mean yea kinemon can be hard to recall, but mingo and others just call him foxfire, which i find easier to remember cause i use firefox to watch one piece lol

2024-10-06 22:12:52 +0000 UTCZoro singlehandedly justifies the existence of child leashes lmao

2024-10-06 19:07:32 +0000 UTCI think that Senior Pink just didn't want to initiate the fight from behind.

2024-10-06 18:31:22 +0000 UTCHonestly thought Suleiman would be the easiest to remember for Alicia since he is basically called slayman and she'd go "slayyy" but i'm so surprised i was wrong. Was waiting for it since he got introduced lmfao

2024-10-06 17:07:55 +0000 UTCI've always liked the detail of Doffy essentially calling Luffy a demon in his conversation with King Riku. Pair that with his immediate violent reaction to Law bringing up the D. in an earlier episode and, deep down, it's clear he has some sort of resentment or maybe even fear of them.

2024-10-06 17:06:21 +0000 UTCI mean... *obviously* the only way the Strawhats can win in this scenario is for him to not know what's truly going on - because then he would just show up to their location and eviscerate them immediately. She's clearly just saying he's been smarter in comparison to other villains. The fact that he recognized Luffy in his disguise immediately but for some reason can't tell that the "Lucy" with blonde hair and a fake scar on his chest is a completely different guy is proof enough that Oda is dumbing him down specifically for plot convenience because they don't even have a chance of winning against him until Operation SOP throws the kingdom into chaos so it *needs* to happen.

2024-10-06 17:02:22 +0000 UTCMy mother had a rather large, and still have it through it has gotten a bit smaller as she has aged, garden. With both flowers, but also fruit trees, berry bushes and vegetables. And it was a magical place to me as a child, and still somewhat is. There were places to hide, trees to play among and when I wanted I could just run over and eat some berries from one of the bushes. Not to mention that homegrown vegetables are delicious. And the flowers are pretty. So would recommend having a garden if able. Through it can be a lot of work. And I will definitely suggest getting kids involved in helping out with it early. It can be a lotta fun for them. And teach them a lot.

2024-10-06 16:35:30 +0000 UTCA bit of info, the Tonttata are very strong yes, but as an sbs explained, their tales are not just fluff, the majority of it is bone and muscle. Also, Noland didnt teach the Tontatta, the Tontatta taught Noland, that is why he had pumkins with him when visiting Jaya, they were from Green Bit.

2024-10-06 16:25:26 +0000 UTCi dont think she will, remember when she was talking about her honkai crush that killed billions.

2024-10-06 16:03:44 +0000 UTCIt is absolutely implied it is by force. She would never consent to that.

2024-10-06 15:36:14 +0000 UTCI find it quite the bit of irony you declaring Doflamingo "Knows so much" when on display that he has no idea how off the rails his plans have gone. He thinks Luffy will never get out of the colosseum but he has no clue that "Lucy" has a stand in and that Luffy is making a B-line for the palace. Then he says that they will never find his underground port where Operation SOP is well underway.

2024-10-06 14:37:19 +0000 UTCHard Boiled fight is the best and you gonna learn with your Doffy simping ass.

2024-10-06 13:27:17 +0000 UTCTRIGGER WARNING! 47:48 Oda has implied that Viola and Doflamingo have a sexual relationship but couldn't outright say it for obvious reasons and it isn't known if it was by force, if she was doing it as part of her cover, or if she was genuinely charmed by him to some degree enough to sleep with him.

2024-10-06 11:19:39 +0000 UTCOne thing I knew but was cemented into me from this anime was "Do not judge a child by their parents". At best you've killed or ruined the life of a innocent person, at worst you make them into the monster you see them as.
