2024-10-14 19:57:18 +0000 UTCIn the manga, each of the events had their own chapter. The hair, the snail-people, the mosquito, the lighthouse. Everything had it's own chapter. The chapter started calm, tension and creepyness built, and it was "resolved" by the end of the chapter. Here everything happens all at once and interconnected. Tension can only get so high, so without the calm between we just rush from one thing to the next, often forgetting about entire events that started earlier in the episode.

2024-10-14 16:42:08 +0000 UTCit isnt ai im sure. theyve been doing this since the first episode. rotoscoping and animating on top of it. its the reason the producers went with a different director to speed things up a bit. thats why it isnt animated fluidly like the first episode
