Just want to say again. Percy tried to kill Anna Ripley when they first found her. He tried again when they were about to face the Briarwoods but couldn't without alerting the enemy. This is the very first time Percy was able to make the choice to give mercy on his own

This is sort of a callback to the end of the briarwood arc. The same thing happened when Percy forgave Delila and she was readying an attack that would have killed Percy if Cassandra wasn't there to finish her off. Much like with Grog, His strength came from his friends, and this is what happens when they are not around.

How have I only just reliased that Vex is basically fantasy Lara Croft? Same colour scheme, same accent, they both use a bow etc?

I haven't watched the original campaign but damn Percy kinda sucks. This was entirely his fault lmao.

Ant mentioned the fruit that Grog ate being poisoned, and Alicia said, "it's okay, he's strong." Funny enough, though, the belt that gave him his beard is called the Belt of Dwarvenkind, which (among having a 50% chance of growing a beard every day) gives you attributes of dwarves, like darkvision out to 60 feet, and advantage against poison and resistance to poison damage.
**CAMPAIGN/SERIES SPOILER**
Edit: I get the feeling that Alicia and Ant aren't too experienced with D&D, *OR* the show did a good job setting up the idea that resurrection magic isn't common. At this point in the campaign, I'm *pretty* sure that both Keyleth and Pike have access to multiple spells that can resurrect the dead, being capable of casting 7th level spells. And druids/clerics being preparation magic classes they don't have to worry about not having the spell in their spell list, since both druids and clerics are preparation casters, which means they get access to their entire spell list and choose which spells they have access to each day, rather than choosing their specific spells like sorcerers, warlocks, and bards. Also, pretty sure at this point, everyone in the party except Keyleth has died once, and goddamn... Keyleth's first death. Fucking iconic.

So when this happened in the campaign I wanted to know how they’d do it in show.
So far all “deaths” in the campaign could be reverted quick. Vax made the deal for vex, I think grog went for a second when he broke the sword but they made him weak in the show.
But DANG! Ok so yeah they kept the Percy death
Feels worse the second time 😣

This episode came as such a shock and sucker punch to those who watched the original campaign because it is so different. And in all honesty, I dig it. The cast decided to take additional liberties in this adaptation, and it delivers possible one of the most powerful moments in the show thus far

they specifically showed her gun glowing after Percy died (because anyone killed by Orthax's guns have their souls taken) so my guess is that he'll come back from the dead after they destroy her gun

I’ve known this was coming the whole time, but the way they changed it from him simply being killed during a fight to this spectacular rendition is just incredible. During the fight, Percy was dead basically 3 times over but kept getting saved from missed rolls and divine intervention. There is a change that I’m surprised was made but I’m excited too see where they take it

Remember: Anyone killed by those guns gets their souls consumed by Orthax, as was reiterated a few times this episode.
Meaning one of two things: Percy is completely dead and his soul is gone, nothing left. Or, if they can somehow get his soul back maybe some tomfoolery can happen?
I honestly don't know what's gonna come of this
