2024-12-28 01:56:52 +0000 UTCthis seems like a situation where its more or less down to a mix of the user of the fruit's mentality and not training this aspect of the fruit. basicly most devil fruits can do alot of stuff but are heavily limited by both how the user percieves the uses of said fruit and how skilled the user is in applying the fruit. a prime example of the reverse would be doffy and how he does all kinds of crazy bullshit with his fruit.

I got you, I've watched this series 5 times and that's not including the times I've rewatched it from other YouTubers like yourself watching it for the first time. If I had to add those, it would definitely be over 10 times that I've rewatched this show. It's my number one and I've been watching it since I was real little when it came out on TV. I believe I was four or five when I started. I also have been watch ABD videos on op and grandline review. The move Zoro used on pica was a stronger variant of the one he used against mihawk on Beretta and lost. Part of the three sword style secret technique. I don't know if you remember, but when she uses her powers. It takes from her own lifespan. Well, calling Zoro an object isn't really wrong. Especially since oda sensei has told us that Zoro smells like steel 🤣😂 As CJ dachamp said in his doflamingo video (which if everyone agrees and by everyone I mean your people, you should watch after dressrosa arc) we know how that dressrosa arc pacing be 😂🤣 Alicia: whaaa, kill me. Luffy talk to him and give him some therapy. Me: 🤣😂 he's been trying his best, but you've been annoyed by it😂🤣 The look on your face when Lucy (Luffy) said doflamingo was priceless 🤣 you knew he was pissed once he said his actual name 😂

And complete Crap other times. It gets better. Pacing is still an issue but not as much. And Animation will improve IMENSELY. This Arc came out in 2014 to 2016. And while One piece had Gotten HUGE. It was not as big as now. Several years after this all was wrapped up is when the series REALLY became as big as it is. And it thus started getting the care it deserved in the animation. But Yeah. Its one of my Fav anime. Probably one of the greatest stories in modern time. But MAN its pacing and a few other things are A$$.

Imagine watching this all the way back when you had to wait week, after week, after week of sitting through these episodes where you have 1 minute worth of content stretched out to 21 minutes. It's horrible, this is what made me stop watching One Piece back then.

He'd protect robin yeah but his enemy would have taken zero damage or worse just have completely stopped exploding resulting in a stalemate between them, I mean he has the pop-pop fruit he can explode without any damage to himself so one would assume he can do it repeatedly to a point, stabbing him was the way to go, barto just took the best chance to defeat him and sadly our best boy completely missed. Or well missed only to smash him into the ground with the most satisfying luffy homage attack :)

I'd like to add that it didn't take that many manga panels, so it didn't feel like minutes like it did in the anime. So even if Robin could fly, she wouldn't have had the time. That's why Cabbage had to rush her up.

Robin can't 'really' fly with her wings. If I understood it correctly they're meant to be more of a parachute to slow her descent or a double/triple jump. At least that's what it feels like Oda was going for. Barto had to take Gladius out so the cliff wouldn't blow up, but Gladius himself would have blown up if he was attacked, sending poison needles (hair) at Robin anyway. If he was just encased in the barrier the cliff would have blown up, so Barto had to be in the barrier to attack him.
