I think the color of the supreme king refers to someone using conquerors haki so intense it's actually visible. like how here it's being shown as bolts of black lightning, rather than just being an aura like when Luffy knocks people out with it.

Doflamingo's trauma was cultivated by trbol and diamante while Rosinante's trauma was mended by Sengoku. Sure, doffy was already pretty corrupted, but he wouldn't be as bad as he is if it wasn't for the people that are apart of his life. People can't walk down the path of light if they don't know it exists

I was told it is people who go against the common morality or laws due to trauma or upbringing etc. Never heard a mention about sociopaths having any lack of empathy. A child solider for example would be a sociopath. A psychopath is the kind with total or near total lack of empathy and "grey rage" when they feel slighted. That one was linked to genetic components.

He was literally in the same spot as Doffy, but doffy had trebol groom him to go down that path even worse while Law had Corazon to save him instead.

He didn't start out as a fundamentally evil person, especially as a child - he was just an extremely maladjusted kid with a lot of trauma and mental problems which, instead of being treated like how Sengoku gave Cora enough love to help heal his trauma, was instead exacerbated by Trebol & the gang. Doffy probably would have just continued on with their life as normal if Trebol didn't show up at the exact moment he felt his most humiliated & angry to give him that gun. Even his overall goal of "I want to destroy the world" was born out of the hurt & embarrassment of being rejected by Mary Geoise - he probably wouldn't have done any of this if they just agreed to take him back. But Doffy is mentally unstable, and emotionally immature, and just rather childish if you think about it. He throws *a lot* of temper tantrums, even as an adult: when Law mentioned D. for the first time, when the toys were freed, at the beginning of explaining his backstory to Law with all the teeth grinding & knuckle cracking, when he realized what the "Corazon" on Law's jacket meant, etc. He has the intelligence of a grown man, but the emotional control & overall motivation of a child who can't stand getting his way.

"Haōshoku no Haki" is the Japanese wording for conquerors haki. "Haō" means "Supreme king" but can be translated as "Conquerors" as well. "Shoku" means color and "Haki" means ambition or will so it can be said as "Color of the Supreme King" or "conquerors will/haki" they just lamed out and decided to copy paste the direct translation,
