I like the implication that Alucard started WW1, which led into WW2 and the creation of the Nazis. Which in turn caused this whole scenario.

When Zorin gets surprised by actual-vampire Seras Victoria, she asks "Why didn't anybody do proper reconnaissance?!" The line is deliciously ironic, because that literally was the job the Major had assigned to her. She was too bloodthirsty and chose to engage Hellsing headquarters instead of doing her job, and now karma caught up and she died because of it.

Also met Jesse at conventions a couple times, actually both before and after transitioning. Even went on bar crawl as part of a largish group from the convention. Cool guy.
