I think have found the solution for the adventure time problem. The official cartoon network app is apparently available in canada according to goodle. I don't know for sure since I don't live there but if it is, it should give you free access to all the adventure time videos and any cartoon network show since all you need to do to watch episodes there is select the series you want to watch then put in your tv information so they can check if it is a service that provides the cartoon network channel (if it doesn't it won't appear on the list of options). So hopefully that can work
