3d helpers!
Added 2019-01-21 17:26:39 +0000 UTCSo I was able to get 3d helper heads done for the triceratops and the foxy.
So I previously said I'd go with 640x360 but I feel like that is too small... and going with something bigger 960x540, I haven't worked in that high of a resolution yet so I'm not sure how long the art would take to make- I do plan on doing higher res at some point though, don't worry!
Here's a test I did in 640x360 and Idk, I just think that those missing 120 vertical pixels is too valuable... But this is the kind of attitude I want for the fox best friend :3
And here's a quick draw over of what I'd like for part of the "intro" I'd like to make him more feminine but this will be some placeholder stuff while I try to block out some parts of the game...
Basically, the main character is looking at some steak on the meat wall in a grocery store... he's had the triceratops on his mind for awhile! Can't stop thinking about him. Then, the triceratops is like "Hey [main character]! Fancy bumping into you here!" and it shows a graphic of Triceratops shopping.
Then there's an awkward conversation since the main character can't stop thinking about banging him and triceratops is a bit oblivious to it? I'm not sure how it'll go yet.
Anyway, I'm still reeeeally unsure about what kind of art style I'll go with so I think I'll just do the same that I've been doing for the sake of time... Idk maybe not, I want to try something new...
