Attempt at the art style???

I was really on the fence about it but I think I'll stick with this for this game. So-
-Painterly backgrounds
-960X540 resolution(HD!?)
I'm not entirely happy with how the character looks but I'll keep working at it... Before this I blocked more of the game out. A few more rough place holders
So I figure I'll block the game out first before really committing to something more painterly... and I'm also trying to think of a more concrete flow of the game. So...
Btw, I finally gave the characters name.
Main character, dino guy, his name is "Lonnie" (which is short for Waylon)
Fox fennec thing is "Clint"
Triceratops name is "Jesse"
