WIP art thing

This is my first digital painting that's not a background in... jeez like a million years! I'm a bit rusty at it but I was never terribly good in the first place... Still trying to figure out how I want to color, how much the strokes should show, lighting, etc...
I also modeled a reference head- when I plan on drawing a character more than once I'd like to model a head based on the first drawing so that way I can keep things consistent. So I modeled the head, gave it a simple armature and posed it/angled it how I wanted for this pick and drew over that.
I kind of want to do an art with him and another character ;3 can you guess who?
