Corniness aside, I did want to say someone else here mentioned Vi's positives and it was illuminating. I'm biased against her since as an older sibling I would've never left Powder alone next to a dead Vander like that no matter the situation. Vi still remains badass and intimidating and absolutely a hero to follow. Powder/Jinx is a mixed brew of untreated psychosis(?) and debilitating environment, despite Silco giving her what seems like 'love' and support, it seems he also encourages the most negative aspects of her personality to gain her favor/manipulate her ("Everyone leaves us, its just you and me, destroy Powder to be a survivor"). It's so hard to even say what Silco does is intentionally harmful as I do think he intends the best for her, but his tactics are that of a survivor and ruthlessness. Those things just can't be good for someone like Jinx. As not to turn into a rant about Silco, I want to say out of absolute pity, Jinx. Maybe I'm biased too cuz I've never played Vi in game.

2022-01-12 15:08:46 +0000 UTCOk, I like Vi so so much. She is great, badass, strongwilled and khm... hot (not like a cupcake tho hehe). BUT. Jinx. No hesitation. I feel for her so much, I understand her every sentiment and root for her at every turn. Ye. She is a great character.

Jinx steals EVERY scene she's in, and you can't help but sympathize with her past and everything she's been through. But there's something about Vi's stoic and strong persona she carries (even in Ep1-3) that makes you appreciate her actions and the sacrifice's she makes for those she loves. She's such an unsung hero, she's not flashy like Jinx, but she also has trauma of her own that she's dealing with and holding inside. Jinx on the other hand is such a paradox, both villain and hero embodied in one. I don't know if I have an answer. Vi is so team Powder, till the point it would probably kill her. And I really think she deserves more attention for the suffering she went though. (7 years in jail)
