I posted this on twitter earlier because I love how turned out! The two boys- I wasn't originally going to do hair, but someone on e621 linked a video without any context:

I'm not sure what exactly they were trying to convey, but it made me think about giving him Jimmy Neutron hair. So I did!

Modeling the hair was pretty straight forward, actually. Simpler than I thought it would have been- the handkerchief around the neck I might add later, but he's 100% naked for now~

One more thing- I did a short test animation of the donkey model:

I'm pretty happy with this tiny, itty bit of animation :3

Finally, I felt compelled to attempt a beach scene with a stylized water shader and sand. So I did that as well!

I would like to have a tropical beach scene at some point, but for now this can just kind of marinate. I'd like to push the water shader further with sea-foam like textures around the edges, maybe some real reflections, for now it's just reflecting an image of some brush strokes :p

Though, I'd rather *not* have too much of a real reflection in the water or on anything- I think that it doesn't really fit in the style and I'd rather reflections be simplified brush-stroky shapes of things instead of perfect reflections. Maybe, idk. I'll have to play around with it more. But I'm leaning less and less toward physical accuracy with rendering.
