I've done more animation on the egg laying animation. I was testing various parts of the animation to see how the soft bodies looked (and also made some tweaks to it so it's more... better), and also some stuff on the glamor hole animation. I wanted to have something better for the VA, at least a more better visual idea of the triceratops.
Like, I know I want to have the triceratops be surprised, stumble back a bit and then turn around and walk to the hole, so I animated that roughly.

The new stuff is in the beginning of the attached video. I haven't done/thought much about the middle part, mostly because it should be pretty straight forward (just pounding the butt, fluid stuff, yada yada). Still not happy with what I wrote for the triceratops' dialogue though, or like maybe he'll say some more stuff? Not sure...

I used it a lot back in the day! So for old times sake, and to see if maybe it could spark an inspiration to program again, I downloaded it and started doing some random things.
First I made a little pre-rendered background:

Just some rocks made with geometry nodes + remesh and a shader that uses some normal info to blend the green part with the rocks. The palms trees I bought from Blender Market because I saw them for like, $2 and they looked really detailed... they are very detailed!
Then I made a little room where the screen scrolls to left/right, like the point and click games of old.

The human character is the default AGS character used in the Sierra style game template.
Then I did something a bit more technical and made some draggable desktop icons. The icons are created inside the game logic by drawing the icon graphic, the file name box and text onto a sprite. So the names can be whatever.

I'm not going to make a game though. I might do a bit of random stuff here and there, but it's not going to be like... anything. I had some fun programming something after not doing it for awhile, but I mean... come on. I like making donut tail holes and eggs being laid! And I think that's just much more interesting to most.
Who knows though. For now I'm just dabbling in game dev, like dipping my toes in it again.
