2020-03-25 17:15:55 +0000 UTCAlso, a couple things you seem to have missed: 1 - When the Gen:Lock team is retreating and Chase stays behind, he tells Yaz, "He doesn't mean me," and also, "My body can't run, Yaz!" Chase stays in the fight not only because of what he is fighting but because there is literally nothing he can do to contribute from his tank. 2 - Chase was out in the open since it was a flat-bed truck, his tank wouldn't fit in the APC. They had to get his body on the plane somehow. 3 - The smokey stuff is explained in the very first episode, yet you keep asking about it - it's weaponized nanotechnology. In short, it's a huge swarm of tiny robots that can tear apart or suffocate everything they come in contact with that they're not programmed to leave alone. It's colloquially called "smoke" due to the swarm appearing like a cloud of purple smoke.

On the board is the phrase, "Ship of Theseus," which is one of the oldest thought experiments in philosophy and dates back to Ancient Greece. Here's the basis of the thought experiment copypasta'd from Wikipedia: If it is supposed that the famous ship sailed by the hero Theseus in a great battle was kept in a harbour as a museum piece, and as the years went by some of the wooden parts began to rot and were replaced by new ones; then, after a century or so, every part had been replaced. The question then is if the "restored" ship is still the same object as the original. If it is then supposed that each of the removed pieces were stored in a warehouse, and after the century, technology developed to cure their rotting and enabled them to be put back together to make a ship, then the question is if this "reconstructed" ship is still the original ship. And if so, then the question also regards the restored ship in the harbour still being the original ship as well.
