What dose martial arts take to learn? ...two words, repetition and adaptiblity. growing up i spent 11 years learning Tea-kwon-do. for 5 of those years i consistently placed 2 in the state tournament(never got first). it's impossible to know your opponent when you've never met them, so the most important thing is knowing yourself, knowing how well you can do certian moves through your repetition and how much those moves will coast you your stamina. half the fight is won before the fight bell rings. the rest is your ability to change your game plan on the fly( thats the reason i was only ever 2nd).
