Yeah, this episode is pretty much filler, but it does introduce some key players for the next arc, Levy and Loke. It showcased what Levy can do and also gives us more of an attachment to her so that the beginning of the next arc hurts us more. And then it reveals the mystery of Loke. Pay attention to the fact that Natsu couldn't figure out what Loke's magic was. Otherwise, it's just a fun slice-of-life episode like you said. That's another thing I think this show does really well. The whole show, particularly at the beginning, is very slice-of-life, so filler episodes like this don't necessarily feel out of place. But I'm so ready for you to begin the next arc, it's one of my favorites of the entire show, and I'm also ready to see your reaction to the shipping fuel that is episode 22.
