2021-11-22 04:29:55 +0000 UTCI think Shikamaru is probably the second or third best written character in the series(next to Kakashi and that other guy people like to talk about). In fact one of the best arcs in either series is dedicated to Shikamaru specifically(as in he is legitimately the protagonist of the show for a good ten to twenty episodes). Anyway in my opinion the difference between Temari and Shikamaru is the difference between the queen(the most tactical piece on the board) and the king(the most strategic piece on the board). Temari knows how to maximize each move to its fullest potential while Shikamaru knows how to use all the resources on the board to produce the most drastic effect. Also, yes people do in fact ship them very hard. Myself included.
