⭐Fairy Tail Episode 60 & 61: Watch Along & Analysis

The second Fairy Tail movie is for sure canon, and I think the FT sequel has pretty much confirmed the first movie as canon, too, so you should definitely watch them (I don't know if you've been watching sub or dub, but definitely at least watch the first movie in sub because the dub got so much wrong). You can't watch either one of them for a while, though, there'd be so many spoilers at this point. This arc ends halfway through episode 69, though, and at that point, you'll be able to watch the first three OVAs. The second one, while it's based off an omake the mangaka drew, it's set in an AU, so I don't think it counts as canon, but the first one has canon material (based off another omake), and the third one is canon because it explains how Natsu got the scar on his neck. Hahahahaha, how many dragon slayers are there, indeed. Wendy is a Sky Dragon Slayer. I always loved how Natsu won this fight. He totally only won by accident, but it's still clever. Figuring out how to use Cobra's strength against him. I'm glad you brought up all of Natsu's anger over what Cobra was saying about dragons and Igneel. People tend to forget that his main goal in life at this point is to find Igneel because it's not being constantly shoved in our faces and Natsu's a goofy lighthearted guy, but finding Igneel is pretty much his motivation behind everything in the beginning of the series. This arc has two intros. All the arcs from here on out have at least two intros. (also, did you notice there's no more Natsu telling you to not sit too close to the tv?) Definitely make a note about fighting off of instinct because there's a fight later that Erza is essentially fighting by instinct that people complain about. There's a lot more going on symbolically behind that fight besides that, but just remember that Natsu also fought by instinct here.

Summer
