So I gave you a week break from my comments here for 2 reasons...firstly you seem to be getting more and more worried every time I comment and I don't want a Kat-bat beating, and secondly I forgot to watch last weeks stuff.
That being said...now I get to double dose you with all the worries you missed out on last week hehe. I will start with something that was not read last time due to the Patreon app on your end being stupid:
"As a hall monitor I feel it is my solemn duty to prepare you for all the STUFF. I will continue to cause you grief as long as needed. In saying that............PLEASE DON'T HURT ME STUDENT COUNCIL PRESIDENT."
Because you call me "gray" so much, every time you talk about Gray (fariy tail) I have to remind myself you're not talking about me.
We are getting to the final stretch of this arc now so I want you remember the side antagonists that they are facing, because if our heroes have counterparts in Edolas, don't you think those Edolas characters may have Earthland counterparts too?
Going forward we are going to see a lot of things happen to all the citizens of Edolas, good or bad. Be prepared. This next episode alone is going to pull at you in all different directions, and ends with a bang.
After that you get the team-up we have all been waiting for. One of the best fights in the series in my opinion. Really showing off the characters potential. Lots of action coming up that's for sure.
Now don't be too afraid, after all, I only make you anxious if something is coming...right?

Beware: Long Comment Approaching!!
The sequel is still going, a new chapter is released every two weeks. I don't think it could possibly be less than 200 chapters with everything it has going on, and it's only on chapter 69. So it's nowhere near over. And who knows, maybe the anime for it will be picked up by the time you catch up!
Fairy Tail is overall lighthearted, but there are definitely a lot of dark topics covered. The anime sugarcoats and censors some things. Like the first episode where Bora tried to kidnap Lucy and some other girls and then in episode 30 he said he was just trying to recruit models? Yeah no, he was actually trying to sell them as sex slaves. He also tried to brand the girls. But they sure didn't sugarcoat that stoning, that scene really got me.
I absolutely love how Fairy Tail handles tropes. It either really leans into a trope and milks it (while also giving a logical in-world explanation for it) or it will completely subvert it. The one you pointed out with Gray just now was an excellent example. There's also a pretty big trope subverted at the beginning of the next arc (I'll point it out if you miss it, but I think you'll catch it).
Out of my top five favorite arcs, you've only gotten to one of them! For me, it's:
#1 - Tartaros (I think a lot of people agree this one is their favorite)
#2 - Alvarez (the last one of the first series, which fell prey to the 'publishers are making the author rush the ending' like a lot of other manga, but even with that, I thought it was fantastic)
#3 - Grand Magic Games (you've mentioned you love a good tournament arc, right?)
#4 - Sirius Island (this is the next arc)
#5 - Phantom Lord (which is the one you've seen of these)
Yay for Content Blasts! Maybe your first Fairy Tail blast is when you can watch the first three OVAs?
