There is a proper technique that will ensure you take minimal damage, but it is still easy to mess up so I do not recommend you trying it any time soon Kat. Also that hold Goku had on Tien is known as a "Boston Crab", a wresting move that is also known as the back breaker. It actually does a lot more damage to the spine than the leg sockets but is still painful there too. OK so you know how I said that I would only have to post fun comments for this series.........I got some bad news for ya Kat. We are getting to the dark side of Dragonball now. One of the best arcs in the whole series in my opinion but still...I don't think you are prepared for what is coming. Things are about to get real.
