2020-12-20 02:16:36 +0000 UTCI found this comment from someone else. "Cinder's backstory summary: Was adopted by a Karen" This is a case of lady needed some to clean the hotel and instead of paying someone she adopted Cinder and treats her like a slave/unpaid servant. There is no evidence that says that this practice is bad in the eyes of world of RWBY. Rhodes did what he could.

2020-12-18 01:18:57 +0000 UTCThere was something I saw someone post that I think would be interesting, so Ruby's message got out to everyone right so do you think that Raven saw it aswell and will put her fear to the side and step up to the plate to help her daughter?
2020-12-15 14:18:19 +0000 UTCWell that was interesting seeing Cinder's backstory. A girl who killed everyone in her childhood and was then taken in by an UN-ageing being raising her with promises of power. Really reminds me of another character from another series ;). It did a good job of showing why Cinder was the way she is but honestly I would have preferred if the entire episode was dedicated to Cinder like the episode of Salem's origins was handled. The one part I really enjoyed was actually seeing why Hazel is working for Salem. In knowing she is immortal he despaired and resorted to lashing out at OZ for the death of his sister. I will be interesting to see how he acts if he finds out the truth about the relics. But I was also supprised how the Grim river's destination was not mantle but Atlas and now that Monstra is there she can make the most deadly grim fondue fountain in history. I am curious as to why of all the Atlas ships around the kingdom only 1 actually chose to take fire on the grim attacking the shields.

2020-12-14 15:37:25 +0000 UTCI love how the moment she killed her adopted family the clock struck midnight showing the change of her entire life going forward. Peak cinderella vibes I think Ruby is gonna end up in some form of depression by the end of the volume. Yang doubted her decisions, Penny is hacked, Oscar getting tortured, and Mantle/Atlas is definitely doomed. Ruby been having doubts of her leadership since the 1st volume and this doesn't help.

2020-12-14 09:36:07 +0000 UTCHey Kat! Been a while but I wanted to point out how Salem approached her reprimand of Cinder. You can tell she is a master manipulator. That was textbook gaslighting. First the punishment of pain. Then suddenly saying it is her fault Cinder failed. And that she is going to raise Cinder up. Give her what she wants. Is textbook. In order to keep Cinder loyal and unquestioning and possible make it so Cinder won't act out ever again. It's quite scary.
