⭐Naruto Episode 112-113: Watch Along & Analysis

Since we're talking about it, Naruto does suffer HEAVILY from spoiler titles and openings in general, most of it showing up in force in mid-Shippuden and becoming blatant and a bit unbelievable tbh in later Shippuden. It wouldn't be a bad idea to outsource a little project for someone in the discord to put together a list of episodes with titles to avoid seeing and which openings spoil their arcs up to which episode. There is a particular title in the first arc of Shippuden you absolutely CANNOT see before you finish the episode, one of the worst spoiler titles ever.

I should warn you to be carful when opening the star wars can of worms around me I have a lot of extensive opinions on it. For example, I think the Jedi get way more hate than they deserve from people. Which is not to say they don’t have major problems that they seriously failed to address just that they are not anywhere near as bad as the literal space nazis or literal space wizard death cult. As some people suggest, including a certain movie I don’t have a ton of affection for but that is a topic for another day. I could talk forever about this stuff but this is Naruto so I will stay on topic. That reminds me, excluding Naruto all the members of the team are part of active ninja clan each of which have their own secret techniques kept within their respective clans. At first it kind of bothered me that they were all part of leaf's ninja clans and all in the same class but I found out they were all born roughly within the first year or two after the last great war ended which actually makes a lot of sense when you think about it(they are kind of like this worlds version of the baby boomers). I don’t know weather that was intentional or not but I like that detail. Also given that the big guy is part of a four man team and was the one left behind I am pretty sure he is talking more to himself than he is to Choji.

Looking forward to 114. It is in my top 5 favorite episodes in the original series.

OK Kat, now that Tat is aware of how things work between us here in the comments, here is an example: Everything is going to be fine. You have nothing to worry about. It's not like anyone is going to die in this arc, right? How'd I do? Did you "Believe it"?

Also "you're picking on a child" fun fact Jirobo is only about a year or 2 older than Choji haha. The Sound Ninja 4 are all supposed to be like 14, which is super weird because they come across as much older. I guess being one of Orochimaru's servants will do that to you lol

Funny that you mentioned how some other anime is pretty bad about spoiling in the episode titles because Naruto starts doing it particularly in this arc (it happened a bit in the Chunin Exams too) and then periodically throughout the rest of the series. It's generally advised to avoid reading the titles (at least you're doing Sub so it should be a bit easier to just not read it). Good news is that in Shippuden they stop doing the thing where they read the episode title out during the episode.
