I almost forgot to answer your questions Kat, ok here goes. Ace age: 20. 3 years older than Luffy i will say this 1 more time. The next OP starts on ep.116 BUT advise you to avert your gaze until AFTER ep.130. the lore recap with little map is a recurring element during notable arcs (such as Alabasta) for the rest of the series. And finally going to remind you that the Kings loyal retainer Igaram, is the same man ms.all sunday blew up back when the straw hats first met Vivi at whisky peak. (kinda a bummer note to end on)

Ok time for my spoil-- i mean facts. I tried last week to write up some power rankings and it didn't work (stupid spam marker). So instead since Kat seems surprised about the statement that Ace could beat all the straw hats and baroque works combined (which Ace probably could do), lets try for perspective. Now this is tricky to do without spoilers, so i will try to limit to facts that just haven't been stated yet. A good way to start is of course to look at bounties, keeping in mind that bounties are issued and based on information available to the world government, and are not a direct indicator of power. Take Luffy 30.Mil, given to him based on his defeat of all the notable pirates in east blue. With the exception of Alvida AND Kuro, since the government didn't know Luffy beat them. If the government had learned about these extra 2, they might have made his bounty higher. Crocodile is a little harder to gauge, because the bounty was frozen at the time Crocodile was made a warlord. meaning his former bounty of 80.Mil is outdated. But even this outdated info tells us that Crocodile is at least 4 times the threat Arlong was (with his paltry 20Mil) . As for Ace, well here it comes. As captain of his own crew, and later promotion to 2nd division commander for Whitebeard, Ace has racked a respectable bounty of 550.Mil. And finally to give you perspective, lets do the king of the hill himself, Whitebeard. Are you ready for this? are you sure? 100% certain? without questi-- ok i'll stop now. Whitebeards bounty is a ridiculous: 5.046.000.000. Yes you read that right, Whitebeards bounty is OVER 5 BILLION. The chump change of Whitebeards bounty is higher than Luffys entire bounty. How is that for perspective. Incase that wasn't enough, the current time period of One Piece is refered to by pirates, marines, civilans and even government stooges as THE ERA OF WHITEBEARD. Ok i am stopping now before i explode with all the reasons you WILL love Whitebeard.

That's a lot to take in I'm sure but I hope you all liked these little tidbits, and even some hints of friends to come! So, some small bits about last weeks episodes. You asked how long is it gonna take to get past the desert? A lot less time since we are skipping the filler! You also thought Vivi's flashback would maybe have Koza die. But the fact that he is now leading the Rebel Army is even more tragic, I think you'll agree. But Vivi is very empathetic as a character. Kid Vivi crying about possibly losing her friends is a big character defining scene for her. It's worth keeping in mind for how she acts and how she wants to resolve this problem. Remember that she isn't going to Yuba to fight Koza or the Rebel Army. She is going there to tell him that Crocodile is the true enemy, and not to rebel against the kingdom. Just like when she was a kid, she doesn't want anyone she cares about to get hurt. An endearing trait, but sadly naïve, especially for an upcoming leader of a nation. It'll be hard to keep everyone safe and happy! Good luck Vivi! I don't know what episodes you'll be doing this week, but I'd say to watch just the ending of episode 101 before jumping to 103. Just skip straight to about 20:35 of ep 101 for the only canon scene from that episode. And while you're there, check out the latest ending theme. I think you'll find it cute, and it's Christmas after all, so it's a pretty appropriate one. Alright, I've yammered on long enough, lets head on to this week's shows!
