This trilogy is great for building up Gentoku to become Rouge in earnest. While I understand the sympathy for him I refuse to pin blame on his father. Yes his father should have taken more time to hear his son out and perhaps find some middle ground but remember that the only reason Hokuto had the hazard tech was due to Stalk stealing the devils scientist research which was only able to go so far because Gentoku supported it. Not only that but Gentoku willingly chose to kill his own comrades in a degrading way to further his own ambition.
