In episode 22, when Kirito appears as his SAO avatar, he is using the power of incarnation. first seen in his duel against Elite Disciple Volo Levantein. The key difference in his fight against the Prime Senator was the fact that he used one of his signature sword skills from SAO called Vorpal Strike. The reason he appeared as his SAO avatar was due to Kirito associating it with the "Black Swordsman" persona. Kirito developed contempt towards this persona due to feelings/memories of failure and guilt from SAO. As such, he refrains from using this skill. The fact that he used it just shows how important the Underworld is to him now. You will be glad to hear that for the next season they also change the visuals of both OP's. As for the animation and soundtrack, you are in for a treat next season.

I know I posted a long comment on last weeks episodes but I guess it didn't end up posting. Quenella as far as I know does honor and keep the deals she makes. There will be more to learn about her and the whole SAO world. Quenella greatest strength is her will power. And don't forget as master aries said, the world may not be a game but much of how the world works is like a game so Kirito and Eugeo gained experience from defeating all those Knights. You still get experience even without killing. But Kirito has mentioned this before there are only 3 stats. HP, System control authority and object control authority. the rest has to do with imagination and willpower. Quenella is a complex character and why she is the way she is has to do with something you find out later. Though it won't be spelled out for you it will just be another piece of the puzzle that they have already been building it will be up to you to figure it out and put it together. If you figured it out already that what you most likely think will happen it probably won't happen that way. I suggest instead of trying to speculate where it's all going to go that you just enjoy the ride. As great as everything has been the best parts are to coming next. Though in many ways it will feel long and yet rushed because there is so much in the story they won't be able to fit in (based off how deep they go in the light novels) A full spectrum of emotions are coming though at least you will get 2 episodes a week compared to me having to watch them one at a time when i watched it and i was stuck with the Japanese version my first time experiencing it as i wasn't going to wait until the English version to find out what happens next. By the time you catch up to the latest English Episode that is out they should be finished airing the rest of it. Unless they are taking a break which they shouldn't be it should finish concluding in the next 4 to 5 weeks and it should take you 8 to 9 weeks to even get where they are now. Though having to watch War of the underworld in Japanese first before getting to watch it in English some parts of dialog felt a bit off. Though every other part i watched the English version first. There are so many amazing surprises and moments coming. I'm sure you already love the series but what is coming next is really going to make you fall in love. I'm still excited to see these last English episodes air.

Made a mistake in my post last week. 24 episodes in Alicization, not 25, so you will finish the arc this week. I am not aware of any OVAs to watch, at least that can be accessed outside of the DVDs. The whole problem with administrating Underworld from the real world, is also the Time Dilation. Like you mentioned that Adminstrator is doing CRAZY admin things, and shouldn't Rath back in the real world notice and do something. Well...time is passing much faster. So the what, ten minutes, this fight has been going on, translates into what, five seconds or so in the real world. So that is about enough time for Higa to hear an alert sound and look over at his screen to see what the alert is. That is of course assuming they are even tracking in world adminstrator stuff. Because they might not be doing that...since no Admin accounts are currently logged in. So worst case scenario the real world has had a few seconds of "huh thats weird." And just in case you want to move over to Funimation/Crunchyroll for the finale, since you will need it for the start of the next season. You are looking for S3E24 "My Hero".
