2021-01-10 21:14:39 +0000 UTCMay and Ruby have made the greatest dialogue of the episode. "This isn't a situation where everyone wins!" I feel like the team conveniently had only handled threats a small team can handle but now they are standing the line against Salem. This is Rubys first experience with war and I believe she will come out a better leader for it.

2020-12-22 19:13:03 +0000 UTC- While Atlas is clearly in trouble, in a few points, things are slowly getting out of Salems hands, with Hazel, Emerald and Mercury are all now likely canditates to defect. - Yang and the Boys are on the way to rescue and protecc Oscar, Ren has levelled up and Nora is recovering, Team ORNJ is getting back into shape! - Even if Salem can´t be killed, I can see her whale exploding from that bomb, but whoever will do it, it will turn into a suicide mission. I hope I am wrong, but I fear that one will be Winter.

2020-12-21 09:41:05 +0000 UTCI call the scene with Em and Mercury. “Mercury’s Path” Because just... this scene has sooooo much going on here. With the way Em and Merc react to each other. To how Tyrian possessively latches onto Mercury. Practically herding him away. You know that Tyrian is just loving watching these two young people dance uncertainly to their own doom. They are like his toys. And Mercury... poor Mercury. He had it beat into him by his father to know when to surrender. He was taught that when the strongest can’t fight, you don’t fight it. When the opponent is stronger you don’t fight it. But the fear and solomn look of resignation he shows in that last part he is in... shows that with all his bravado and trying to convience Em that this is their only way of survival. You can see that he doesn’t fully believe the words he is saying. He’s just on autopilot. Man I love Merc and Em focus because they are like on a spinning compass and they don’t know which way is true north. Their true north.

The only complaint I have is why the heck are the soldiers on the outside of the fortress walls instead of on top / to the side to fire on and flank the grim. Make the enemy work to get their kills instead of handing them on a silver platter. I am still amazed that Hazel's character was saved in just 2 episodes. What was shown as an angry punch man at the end of vol 5 is now a man who sought out revenge against Salem several times and when he realized that he could never achieve it he resorted to targeting OZ with Salem's lie of a better world. Now that both Emerald and Hazel have the secret on the relic of knowledge it will be interesting to see what happens. Either Hazel asks the question or Emerald tells Cinder and Cinder tells Salem claiming that she single handedly found out about the lamp throwing Emerald under the buss. I also liked how they handled the whole scene with May. Her trans reveals more so pertained to why she feels no loyalty or Atlas instead of a random exposition. Another thing about May that was nice is how she called ream RNBW (ruby and company) on how they have an ideal they want to hold up but do not have an actual plan to achieve it showing that ideals are only lip service unless you put them into practice. Whitley's moment was also well done. In overhearing Ruby's speech he took action to do what he felt was right rather than for the approval of someone else. The final scene with Penny has me worried since our lovable android in severely injured and we know that Cinder and the Hound are tracking Penny at the same time. Now to stare blankly into my computer screen and wait for February.
