⭐Dragon Ball Episodes 116-117: Watch Along & Analysis

You should watch the series the way you want. I can't and don't want to dictate anything to you. Unfortunately, I didn't like the reactions that much. I felt like Dragonball was just running on the side. Unfortunately, from my point of view, these were two very cool episodes.

Lovely to see you here Tat. Always a pleasure. To give you some clarity on how cartoons and anime were released "back in my day", it was the same for many different shows. Pokemon was another offender of the 3 episode VHS tapes. To give you some idea on the collection size, I believe Dragonball Z (Only DBZ, not Dragonball) had over 80 volumes by the time they completed releasing the series on VHS and DVD 3 episode format. Don't ever think you're not lucky now to simply stream it. (Kat, do old man voice) "I tell ya, I had to walk 3 kilometres, barefoot in the snow to get to the store that sold those precious 3 episodes on VHS." Seriously Kat? You're from America and you're asking how these guys got weapons so fast?! Irony? A little throwback, if you remember back in the Red Ribbon arc when Goku was going to the city for the first time to find Bulma, he met a policeman with a rather distinct accent. He made a comeback here as the Warden of the prison that was broken into. Also, talking about lengthy OP's, just wait a few hundred episodes of one piece. This aint nearly as bad. Remember what darkness said to Goku before he drank the water? If you have no power within you you will not change. It showed his giant ape (bad choice of words for those in the know) form as he was drinking. Maybe that means that instead of transforming into the ape, he was able to tap into some of its power? Just a theory. So coming up things are about to get dicey, but you have one of the best photo-op moments for Goku. Seriously, that boy knows how to pose.

i don't mind 2 people reaction as long as they focus on watching and reacting to the show and not talking over the dialogue to much :)
