I perfer Shippuuden in DUB... then you dont have to read the subtitels all the time, and you can focus on anything on screen.. and while writing something, you still can follow anything is said.. If you watch Sub.. you missing info, when you start writing something... Shippuuden really is heavy at lore/info dumps in certain episodes... Thats why DUB is better then SUB (my opinion)

P.S. Personally, I love the Dub in this.

I know you think that sinking has some symbolism here, and it might, but really all that is happening is that they are no longer using chakra to stand on the water cos they were hit down so they fell through like anyone else. The climax is coming. Remember that Sasuke has not used that dark form that he emerged from the coffin with. Do you think that Naruto will be able to handle him, even when he is channeling the nine tailed fox, when he goes all out? Or perhaps Kakashi will get their in time to stop the fighting. No matter what, the real question is who is gonna explain to Sakura that Sasuke likes Naruto more than her?!

I personally prefer dub over sub for shippuden

Since you ended up watching the dub for once, here's a bit of trivia for the VA for Sasuke. He also was the VA for Ben in Ben 10 Alien Force and Ben 10 Ultimate Alien. Possibly also Omniverse too. So if you want to know what Sasuke would have sounded like if he had grown up to be a happy teenager rather than edge-lord, check that out.

I know that.. but do you want from 135 skip directly to the second half of 220.. and 216 till 220 is a desent fight.. not as good as all in Shippuuden.. but it are growth episodes for Gaara.. so ill think Kat and Tat wanne see that anyway..

IMO both sub and dub are good, great VAs in each and I have watched both throughout the years. Dub can be better for group watching/reactions for convenience related reasons like you said (being able to look away from the screen etc). Only issue is that Shippuden in Dub is a bit harder to access, if I recall correctly Hulu only has it up to episode 140 or so, then it just stops. Due to some licensing stuff with Viz there aren't any streaming services I'm aware of that have the entire 500 episodes. So the only way to watch the whole dub legally is to buy the DVD sets (digital or physical), which can rack up in cost over time since each DVD only has like 13 episodes

I'm not sure how the list you have goes, but since you haven't mentioned it I'll throw out that episodes 141 and 142 each have an extended segment of important canon plopped right between the end of one filler arc and the start of the next. But of course, instead of making one canon episode they put 3 and 1/2 minutes at the end of 141 and 6 and 1/2 minutes at the beginning of 142. Kind of either have to get a cut together version of the canon scenes, watch most of 141 with no idea what's happening and skip the second half of 142, or watch both filler arcs. As for other fillers I like, 148-151, 152-157, 193, 195-196, and then 216-220 are all worth watching and something I think you guys would enjoy. Also, the OP's and ED's continue to change on schedule through the fillers, so more contenders for the rankings.
