I know you mentioned towards the start of episode 114 that the rain was ominous... Something to note is that the rainstorm started when Meldy (the girl who fought Juvia) started talking about how she was going to kill Gray - so Juvia's rage was the cause of that. It also helps since battles in the rain can be ever more intense! :D

Fun fact about the prison where you saw prisoners. There are some in there that were villains in the filler episodes that you skipped. They included them in the canon episodes so you wouldn't feel like they were not just a one off thing of little importance and to give their defeat more importance. They ended up being locked up in the magic council's top prison. So maybe you need a clue on who could help them out even with their power diminished by the tenrou tree being cut down and all the battles they have fought. Here are some hints. It would have to be someone that does not have the fairy tail emblem so that they do not have the same effects as everyone else. It would also need to be an ally and lastly it would need to be someone that knows where the island is. Any ideas? Kat: Graaaaaaaaaay..... Me: Yes? Kat: Gray no. Me: What? Kat: Gray no. Gray no. Well, they're heeeeeeeeere, so you have to make the guess on who it is and lock it in because the entrance will give you goosebumps. Remember that Ultear is the last one left. After that all that is left is Hades..............oh, and lets not forget Zeref.

Well I left a comment earlier and now it's gone. I don't know what happened to it 😢 Edens Zero comes out on April 10th, and you should 100% react to it! Mashima's basically creating a multiverse, so there are characters that might feel familiar to you 😊 So to speak more on this fight, I'm gonna go wayyy back to the Phantom Lord arc where Natsu was fighting Totomaru, the fire wizard that was controlling Natsu's fire. The lesson of that fight is that no one can control your magic as long as your heart is in it. That's what happened here, but on a whole new level. Azuma was controlling everyone's magic power here and hitting Erza with it, and she felt alone and like everything was up to her. Then when she heard Natsu's voice and saw everyone's faces, she finally realized that everything wasn't up to her and that they were the ones protecting her. So the magic power that Azuma had been controlling was turned against him because you can't control the heart of magic. (all this is very important to the "One Magic" that Grimoire Heart has been talking about this entire arc). What Azuma said in the manga was, "The magic of Tenrou Island should be under my complete control, but in fact, it was granting her its divine protection?" That's why we see everyone's faces behind Erza, because it's literally everyone's power behind her. (the more I think about this fight, the more it jumps up the list of my favorite fights) This is your reminder not to watch the new OP yet! And your reminder that you have seen that boy before. And your reminder that the tree is still down and Ultear and Hades still left to take down. And maybe Zeref? And maybe someone else? Still so much ahead in this arc! (the arc ends at episode 124)
