We are finally in Shippuuden.. now i finally can tell you my favo characters.. due to Naruto Episodes i could not (Cos Kat, you though some were dead). So here is my own top 10. 1# Kakashi. 2# Naruto. 3# Neji. 4# Gaara. 5# Jiraya. 6# Shikamaru. 7# Rock Lee. 8# Hinata. 9# Sakura. 10# Choji. Anyway.. we will be here for a long time.. but now with march around the corner, and the new update in place things could move alot faster.. specally if a few high tier members (inclu myself) request Shippuuden alot😁😁 (goes for anything els too ofcourse). So. Maybe ill stop my G.o.T request for March, (but not sure yet) and jump on the Shippuuden and DB/Z Train, (3 Extra Shippuuden, 2 Extra DB/Z) So 5 Eps in total, + the normal 2 that uploads of each.. makes 9.. Oh and dont forget about the spoiler titel of ep 17 when you are there.. and i really hope you and Tat are ready.. this is going to get dark, Extreamly dark.. Tissues ready?? Well i have rambled on for long enough now.. injoy this weeks episodes..

So I feel like I pushed a button last week.......lets push some more. (Especially since you asked for more Sakura debate hehe.) Let me back up my claim a little so you don't think I'm a complete Sakura hater. The first episode you saw last week showed a lot of what I was talking about. It showed how she was more interested in Sasuke than being a ninja at the beginning of the series (remember that my comment last week related to the first half or two thirds of the series) and it caused her to have problems in their first training mission (Kakashi actually pointed this out at the time). Another part of this is you are trying to apply modern real world standards to a shonen that is supposedly based in the feudal east (again, I get it, there are machines and other such electric-consuming gadgets but lets put that up to artistic license). In this age of shinobi it was expected that as a genin you would be working on yourself as a ninja to better your skills both physically and mentally to be able to perform your missions without failure, even at that age. Now I understand that as a tween she will have these emotions running wild etc (we all did, see I relate too), but it was shown that many others around her age also had the same crush on Sasuke without the same results (E.G. Ino). As they were not on the same team and did not have Sasuke as a constant distraction they actually were able to master a lot more justu and train to a higher extent than Sakura could during that same time. (I will admit that she did learn how to escape genjustu at this point in her life and I do commend her for doing something that both other team 7 members found difficult if not impossible.) Also this is only during the part of the series that Sasuke is around. As soon as he leaves it is almost like she got a boot up the arse (or ass, however you want to say it haha) and realized she needed to do something to better herself to be able to save him. You may not have seen the whole of OG yet so it does show in the other filler areas where she is present that she truly wants to better herself. The rest of the series from there, my opinion of her changes and I hold a lot more respect for her. Remember, Winry (FMA) was a badass, but was still always working to better her craft from an early age, even when she crushed on Ed. Finally I want to address your point about not understanding tweens. I do draw from my own experience being a tween (admittedly not a tween girl but still) and unfortunately that causes a bit of a rift here. I was the eldest in my family but unfortunately in my household that meant that I had to be the mature one and was not allowed to be childish, at least around my family. That meant from early on I was always told to be the grown up and not do the silly things that others did when they were young and in turn I missed out on a lot of the experiences you get at that age, as well as repressing my feelings quite a lot (I had the feelings and emotions, I just pushed them down as far as I could). This has left my experience of those years rather jaded and when I hear about how others had all these emotions going though their heads, I cannot empathize with that. I was able to finally be a kid when I started paying my own rent and living for me rather than under my parents rules which is why I am as weird as I am now. (And admit it, you guys love me the way I am now haha.) After all, what's the point of growing up if you can't be childish?

Naruto the Last, is the only canon movie and it takes place roughly after the manga but before the last 20 or so episodes of shippuden. And is hands down the best movie.

Naruto and his peers are currently 15 or 16, with Lee and his team plus Kankuro at 16 or 17 and Temari at 18. Kakashi and his peers are approx. 30, with the main cast's parents approx. 40. Boruto begins about 2 decades in the future from this point, give or take a couple years.

This is pro-Sakura in case it starts off sounding like it's not lol. For Sakura, I think a lot of the perception problem with her in OG is that her flaws are, while common, the kind that most viewers find at least kind of irritating. I.E. a completely common but entirely over-the-top obsession with her first love that is expressed childishly because she's a child. What begins as an utterly flippant and disrespectful relationship with our main hero whom we 're already emotionally attached to when we meet her. A lack of combative strength compared to her peers in a story "about fighting" in which she is a soldier in a combat position. Every good character has flaws. But her position in the world requires her to be an A-list main character, giving her all the time in the world to show off these flaws again and again. The problem being that the plot missed some opportunities to show growth in those flaws, making something that was kind of annoying very repetitive, which as you know only makes it less annoying. IMO at least. It accounts for why people feel like all she did was cry and complain, as that is one of her flaws that is shown often but only starts to see tangible progress at the end due to story direction. I do see it as a writing problem, but just slightly with how she's used in the story. One or two tweaks to earlier moments and one or two more minor scenes showing progress. With that "update" to her character changing how existing scenes further in the plot play out just tiny bit, she'd essentially be the same character at the end for the same reasons and yet I think a lot of people would feel a lot better about her. I think people tend to forget the 70% of her that's ok or even great and just focus on the 30% that needs work, because that 30% is in their face constantly.
