This is kind of a controversial video for Swifties, as well as being controversial as a song and now obviously with the breakup ... anyway, it's a lot. I think the Redditors were way too harsh -- I've not heard of many people disliking the video; it's a total vibe (as you note), and honestly, let's compare it to other music videos out there -- c'mon, hard to argue it's not visually stunning as a piece. Anyway, I think you totally get the message of the song, and as usual, I appreciate your open-minded and thoughtful approach.

2023-04-15 23:03:32 +0000 UTCI’ve really enjoyed Taylor’s self-directed music videos (including this one). I think as a storyteller, she’s great at transporting the viewer into her own little world. And I like how she can use her creativity in whatever way she wants to. I prefer her self-directed videos over the ones not directed by her. But that’s just me.
