Answering your questions about manga. i dealt with the weekly wait by taking a break, and letting some of the chapters pile up. Then i kicked myself for not waiting longer. One piece still has a weekly release, though recently they have had weekly breaks so often that they now make note if there will be a break. (and it is at 1 of the most epic times in the series right now.) also the chapters average about 15-20 pages, the usual for weekly release.
