Love is like a primodial magic, love can brings both happiness and suffering just like magic that can be a tool for creation and a tool for destruction. They are both miracle and tragedy. Usually it's power that corrupts person but in many fantasy stories it's knowledge ("false knowledge", to be exact) that corrupts person. However that doesn't mean what Hades said is wrong, most of them still true in another point of view.. even the relation between Zeref and primodial magic.

The bigger surprises will have been shown by then and all that it spoils after that is certain match-ups. I think it was best that Gildarts recognized from the get-go that he wasn't the master-type. The guild's in a very fragile and unstable place right now and they need somebody that will commit to the longevity of the role to hold everything together. Plus, Gildarts reinstating Laxus during all this master talk might be slight foreshadowing, don't you think? You actually kind of are getting a tournament and celestial wizard arc mixed into one (and another arc, but I won't spoil that one, but I can tell you it will be very stress-inducing, hehe). The different timeflow in the celestial spirit world is a very important factor. I mentioned it in another comment, but is there a way to send you manga panels that I want you to see? (there were a couple cute Nalu panels that the anime took out of these episodes and I thought you might want to see them). Also the fourth OVA takes place on the first day of training in episode 153 and puts back in some of what they took out of the anime episode (shouldn't watch it until 158, though, don't want to spoil a certain appearance). Also, I feel it important to note that in the manga, Natsu did not produce fire underwater here. There are times later on where he's underwater and can't use fire, so I don't know why the anime decided to add that in. (He can heat the water up, though)

Summer

How will the main cast get strong enough to compete, or will they have to compete as is? If only they had time on their side. My favorite ship moment is coming and you’ll know, happy plays with fire, and some new friends help out. But remember there is no magic tree to save the cast from death, and who could stop the strongest wizard guilds from going to far. And is there something more sinister like you guessed pulling strings? There are some tournament arcs without winners, you’ve seen it before.
