Your probably wondering why their is a guy with swatsika on his forehead. The reason is that the swatsika was originally a buddhist symbol for peace until hitler appropriated it and made it a symbol of hate. If you google the Nazi version of the symbol you will see that its facing a different direction than the other one. In eastern asian this is common knowledge but in the western world veiwers are perplexed by this so it was censored when it aired on toonami.

Just to put things into perspective about Kurama and with his mother. Unbeknownst to her, she is raising a fox demon over three thousand years old who has merged with her infant son before he was born. He already has a ton of life experience and wisdom more than most humans in existence growing up as a young boy. And Kurama as humble as he is, growing up in his human form saw her as inferior, not to intentionally be disrespectful but I think he felt that she had nothing to teach him about life and she could see that. And thats why Kurama believes he broke her spirit because she feels as though she had no purpose as a parent. However one thing Kurama I believe didn’t expect to learn from her is love and compassion. His mothers love taught him what it means to be human.

Did you know the person that voices Botan, she also voice older chi chi from dragon ball. Yusuke is also voiced by justin cook who i think voices krillin in z and garlic jr and maybe yamacha. many voice actors from dragon ball on yu yu hackusho. I personally love this show it was honestly one of my favorite animes. I thought it was very bold and different to make the main character die first episode. When this aired on toonami when i was a kid i watched that first episode and saw the yusuke die, and the emotional weight it had in few episodes following. This show when it came to us was like no other shows. plus no dragon balls to just fix things in this show, although i do love dragon ball too. Plus I really related to having bad teachers like that I once had a teacher attack one of our students. this teacher even hit me one time. this was before cell phones and it was small county school. the teacher didn't get in any trouble either. until choked he choked a student. I watched this show back then and saw yusuke deal with the same thing and saw how he eventually matured and karma got the teacher later. But yeah great show helped me alot growing up.
