⭐Dragon Ball Z Episodes 1 & 2: Watch Along & Analysis

Welcome to the world of Dragonball Z, or should I say...THE UNIVERSE! Thats right, Goku is an alien. A sayian born on Vegeta whose sole purpose in life was to destroy all life on Earth....untill he had a nasty fall and banged his head. Be prepared for this new verse that has opened up to start spitting more of Goku's past back at you, and listen carefully to names in the series...you may see something you didnt before. For the first little while in the DBZ series the Scouters that you see Raditz wearing are quite prominent and allow the viewing of ones power level. That is how Raditz located the different fighters. He said he was following high power levels to find Kakarot. For a time these will help you ascertain the power level of the different fighters for the first few arcs. Now that Gohan has been taken, how will Goku rescue him from his evil older brother? With the power level at such a high difference between them, is there any hope for the hero of earth, or will he have to bow to Raditz's wishes?

Yay. The world of Dragon Ball just got that much bigger. You're in for quite the ride. About the intro thing, it's safe to watch it now. Now the thing about this particular into is that (at least for the streaming site) the music was completely changed due to, what I assume, is licensing issues. The real song is called Cha-La Head Cha-La, and it's melody is played throughout the series. In fact, you've already heard variants of that tune within the past 2 episodes.

This particular version of the dub, you are safe to watch the intro after episode 1. Looking ahead for you, it doesn't change into another opening until episode 118 where I'd wait a few episodes until after about the 129 or 130 mark before watching the new intro. When it comes to extra stuff to watch, the movies are fun. None are canon but, there is a list out there somewhere that can actually place where each film would make sense chronologically. One OVA though in particular IS canon and provides crucial backstory to an important character.

Wow I cant believe we finished dragonball already, time flew by! Regarding how many episodes there is actually almost twice as many in DBZ than dragonball, and its closer to 300 than 200.

Funny thing about Goku's Origin. While Toriyama was working on the OG Dragon Ball Manga he hadn't even planned on Goku being from another Planet. At the time he was just a simple monkey boy. It wasn't until around the time Demon King Piccolo showed up that Toriyama started thinking about a Backstory.

This is going to be such an amazing journey.. It will be my 7th time im going to watch DBZ, + All the movies. Some movies can be placed between certain episodes.. others are totally non-canon, but still fun to watch ofcourse..
