Don't you mean the OVA's? To my knowledge there is only 1 Accel World movie and it skips a lot of content.

2021-04-29 09:57:52 +0000 UTCThere’re very few things that you are missing when it comes to the SAO anime stuff. I can recall two things for SAO but they aren’t too important. As for Reki’s work as a whole, I’ll briefly mention some of the things. First off, I don’t think you’ve checked out Sword Art Online: Extra edition. It’s a movie that happens in-between season 1 and 2 but it’s mostly all recap. The recap is split into two parts, one with Kirito and the other one from the girl’s perspective, but they happen at the same time. The movie itself is also split into two (Though the majority is the recap) with the new stuff being near the end. Kirito’s side has him being interviewed in school by Kikuoka about the SAO events. Apart from small things they talk about, it’s mostly all simple recap (From what I remember). From the girl’s side there is a small plot about the girls trying to teach Suguha how to swim. It’s basically fanservice mixed in with recaps from each of the girls and that very small plot line. With the recap done, the new story stuff revolves around Yui wanting to see a whale (Pretty wholesome stuff). The whole Suguha stuff was mainly for that since she is afraid of the water which would hinder their ability to properly find a whale (Again, wholesome stuff). I won’t reveal anything else about it, but that’s basically that movie. (The runtime is 1 hour and 50 minutes. 1 hour and 30 minutes of recap with some new content, and 20 minutes of the whale plotline) The next anime thing would be “Sword Art Offline”. This is a short form series that follows chibi versions of the characters in a game show like setting. It has small sort of recap stuff, but the rest is just meant for comedic purposes (It's also very much non-canon in case you're wondering). It has 2 “seasons” and an extra two episodes for the Ordinal Scale movie and Extra edition respectively. That about wraps things up for the anime side of things. For Accel world there is 1 season, I’m pretty sure 2 OVA’s, and one movie. Anyway, once you finish up the SAO novels up to Alicization, unless you want to keep reading ahead with SAO, I would recommend getting into the Accel World novels. There is so much more to that world and characters in future novels, but I doubt that a season 2 will ever come out (Season 1 came out 2012). I would say everything after what the anime covered is amazing, especially the newer volumes. It is pretty evident that something big happened in between SAO and Accel World that hasn’t been talked about. (Without spoiling anything) One of the AW novels mentions that after an incident revolving A.I’s in the late 2020’s there were many regulations placed around the world. What those regulations are or what happened to Alice and the Underworld because of it is still unknown. There’s also a huge detail in one of the later novels that is revealed by Graphite Edge which is very intriguing for the future of SAO. (Graphite Edge is a very interesting character in itself. Seeing a dual wielding swordsman dressed in all black in this universe always brings some suspicion) Unital Ring and Accel World are very connected to each other from the first volume that I read and from what I heard from other people who’ve read the rest of the non-translated volumes. So, I would say that you should get to at least Vol 10 of AW which is where Reki says the main story really begins and only go up to volume 19/20 before getting into SAO’s Unital Ring. (Unless you are reading ahead in SAO which in that case this doesn’t matter and you can read all of AW and will have no trouble catching references) Once you're done with the novels you should be able to watch the AW movie without having anything spoiled since it takes place after the latest arc in the novels. Anyway, after you’re done with that, I would say you could now play the games since they are a brand-new story line. I don’t know if you will like it or not, but at the very least it’s very different from the main one. I’ve already given you the game order in a previous comment, so you can refer back to that if need be. The mobile games can pretty much be played in any order. Seeing as they are gacha games, they are a bit difficult to fully get all the new content. A way around this might be getting into a guild (Or creating your own) and having more people help you level up. I used to have a guild at some point, but at some point I lost my account and lost the guild with it. (The three games are “SAO: Memory Defrag”, “SAO Alicization: Rising Steel”, and “SAO: Integral Factor”.) For progressive, you can read it if you want or wait for the anime versions to come out (Which I still believe they will adapt as much of progressive as they can while they wait for Reki to finish UR). If you do want to read it, it’s a pretty straightforward process of, you know, just reading them in order. (1-6 with English transaltion). Reki recently released Progressive 7 earlier this year in Japan and will be releasing Progressive 8 this summer. Once you’re done with that, you are done with the main series and can move on to spin-offs and such. I will leave all that out since I’ve mentioned many of them before, but something I don’t think I’ve mentioned is the Progressive manga. Unlike the Light Novels, it follows Asuna’s point of view and has way more comedy. There’s also many artist for the progressive manga, sometimes changing every arc. If I remember correctly, one or more of the artists used to be hentai artist, because of this, you can definitely expect a bit more fanservice than the Light Novels. As a side note, I don’t know if you’ve seen the SAO manga adaptation for Aincrad, but if you haven’t, you should at least check out the cover. The art is really…interesting. Now for some more Reki content that is not related to SAO. His other series that isn’t very well known is “The Isolator: Realization of Absolute Solitude”. Here’s the synopsis: “Ever since a terrible childhood tragedy, Minoru Utsugi has wished for one thing: solitude. Years later, a bizarre encounter leaves a mysterious artifact in Minoru's body that grants his wish--but that's far from the end of his troubles. Others have been visited and given powers like Minoru's, but their twisted desires are not so benign. When a murderous force threatens the people Minoru holds dear, will his newfound abilities be enough to stand in its way? And can there be a future for someone who craves eternal solitude above all else? The story of the Isolator begins here!” This story is a pretty different type of story than one that Reki would write, mainly the fact that there is no Tech related stuff in it and mainly revolves around superpowers. The story still has a very Reki feel to it with the amount of trauma that he gives his characters, and many have even said it’s better written than early SAO. This makes sense since this was written around the time that he was starting to write Alicization (2005). The series has 5 volumes right now and they are all translated to English. The series is honestly pretty good and its characters are really interesting. Sadly Reki doesn’t write this series at the same speed as the rest since it’s not as popular, but even then, he began publishing this series in 2015 and already has 5 volumes. That’s almost one book a year. The story was supposed to take place in the future, but it seems that, just like we are getting close to when SAO takes place, we have already reached the future that The Isolator was supposed to take place in (2020). Another thing that Reki revealed recently, like a few days ago recently, is that he got a job to work on something for Aniplex, but there hasn’t been any information as to what that entails. Also, I don’t know how I’ve never mentioned this since its a really important aspect of SAO and SAO hate, but the YouTube series Sword Art Online: Abridged by Something Witty Entertainment is a really big aspect to SAO as whole (Here at least. I don’t think Japan cares too much). I’m sure you’re familiar with abridged series, comedic parodies of series, but the one with SAO is special. Although it is pretty good, it’s something that most haters use as an example of SAO done right. They say that the Abridged series actually gives Kirito a personality and makes him an interesting character. They claim that the writing is infinite times better than main SAO and that it’s the definitive version to watch instead of actual SAO. You can watch it for yourself to see how you feel, but it’s definitely something I feel you need to mention in your SAO video since it’s probably the biggest argument haters use. There’re also entire videos explaining why it’s better than SAO, which really are just videos hating on SAO. You should check that out since I feel like it’s something that needs to be mentioned in that video you’re working on.

2021-04-29 03:37:22 +0000 UTCSince you love these characters so much, I'll let you know all these characters are in Fatal Bullet which is the GGO version in the Game Universe of Sword Art story. which I believe is the 4th game in the series. It has it's own version of the story and you get to play in the world of GGO. I think the order goes with Hollow Fragment, Lost Song, Hollow Realization, Fatal Bullet and then Alicization Lycoris. I enjoyed all the games though many think only a few are worth playing. They all have Multiplayer support and there are Game only characters and the Original Game Characters for Fatal Bullet actually make a small Appearance in season 3 Alicization when Asuna, Kirito, Sinon and the others are in the bar after Fighting Gabriel's team where Kirito falls asleep in the Game. In the first shot of them in the Bar they will show 2 girls playing pool and those are the 2 original characters from the fatal Bullet game.
2021-04-28 02:35:44 +0000 UTCAlso Accel World there are 2 movies as well both are also dubbed in English to watch after you finish the season.
2021-04-28 01:28:05 +0000 UTCSince I didn't see anyone else answer this, your question on how she got a hold of a nerve gear is already explained. She was a SAO beta tester Like Kirito which means she had one of the original Nerve Gear.
2021-04-28 01:23:42 +0000 UTCMight be a small detail, but when Fuka ties Llenn's shoestrings, she refers to it as a Gordian Knot saying, "Who shall undo that Gordian Knot shall rule the world." It is in reference to a Legend associated with Alexander the Great. Upon reaching Gordium, the capital of Phrygia, he came across a knot so tightly bound and with the ends hidden inside. The Legend was that whomever undid the knot would be the ruler of Asia. No one could find the ends or undo it. Alexander simply took his sword and severed the Gordian Knot in half. It is an allegory to represent using bold action or unconvential thinking to solve a complex problem. Llenn cutting her shoestrings with her knive goes along with it. But I wonder why Fuka referenced this in that situation.
