Most of the fillers in this saga are decentish at best. There are few that are a waste of time and one of them is contradicted in the manga and in later DB series (but expanded upon in non canon movies and a non canon series).

Original funimation dub originally states the snake way is 10,000 miles (stated in a previous episode) but this like the many many many mistakes the original ocean/funimation dub made is incorrect. The correct amount is 625,000 miles which was stated in the manga/DB Kai (english and japanese subs)/Japanese version of dbz.

Snake way is 10 thousand miles I believe they said. It will take some time to get to the end. (also filler does hold him up a bit along with detours, some fun, some not). The wait is worth it though, and we are not yet at the 6 month mark. Once piccolo starts training Gohan personally you will know that 6 months has passed.

Launch's appearance in the anime is only in filler episodes. Manga Launch has gone bye-bye. Also, I notice you keep calling Gohan 8 years old. Piccolo is the 8 year old. Gohan is actually 4. So have fun thinking about what that 4 year old has to go through lol.

Scenes in the anime featuring Launch are actually filler, in the Manga Launch is actually nowhere to be seen, this is an example of some things that the anime improved on from the manga in my opinion.

The DBZ fillers on average are much more enjoyable than the naruto fillers imo and there's a lot less of them.

I really like the Split screen format.. then its easier to see the emotions way better (my opinion) i hope you keep doing this. In the future too.
