A lot of interesting Sai theories there. He's definitely one of those characters where you're not quite sure if he's intentionally being a dick, doesn't understand how he's being a dick, or some combination of both. It is obvious that Yamato is very interested in everything he does and says though, and interesting that Sai made a note of Sakura's strength as something to watch out for. But of course, he and Naruto have issues...Sai has no feelings and Naruto has nothing but feelings lol. Even Naruto agreeing not to kill Sai after he talked about Sasuke again was just him weighing anger against how bad he wants to get Sasuke back, still all about the feels. On another note, there's actually a little moment in 37 where Sakura mentions Sasori's spy in the Sand, Yura, and Naruto has this look on his face that doesn't really match the tone of the statement. I've always wondered if that's because Yura is the literal first confirmed kill(in canon) of Naruto's and it's something he thinks about. He personally hasn't delivered a fatal blow to a single opponent up to that moment outside of like one or two filler/movie villains, so it'd be kind of cool if that's the deal.
