As of writing this post, here's the results of the poll:

I was surprised that deep rim is the winner! And casual vore is 2nd. As I said, I want to incorporate the winner and the runner up in an animation and I had a lot of ideas on how to go about it. The obvious one (to me) is to have a large dragon giving a small fellow the salad tossing of a life time. Then, swallow the smaller fellow whole.
I did some brain storming and I've settled on trying to re-use existing characters. As much as I like Bob, I'd like to use a different dragon and the only other large dragon I've made is my own character. So, I figured why not use that character again. Only problem is that there's a lot of stuff that sucks about that model and rig so I'm going to redo the rig (with some ideas I've had based on some experimentation with bendy bones for stuff like the neck). Just now I spent some time refining the face and making the design more interesting. I thought "why not add more horns?" and so I added more horns.
This is before (excuse the black void, seems I somehow saved this without the alpha channel)

And after a bunch of changes:

I did a lot of small tweaks, redid the horns and ears, etc... his expression here is a bit fierce but that's just how it ended up. Rigged and posed it'll be not so intimidating.
Here's a full body comparison! The old version I tried to pose the neck in the most neutral way I could so it looks odd (and also didn't end up working as well as I'd wanted back then but failure is part of the process of improvement!)

Here's after: I gave him a more elegant neck, made the feet smaller, some other minor tweaks.

I also figured I'd do the same to the pig model I made awhile ago. I tried my best to update and tweak the head to be more appealing looking:
Before:

After:

Here's a test showing the body, ignore the lack of eyes (I haven't re-added those to the rig yet because I need to do some fixing to the rig to match some tweaks I made to the mesh). Something I'd like to do is make him candy tasting/themed. Like to have pigs that aren't just pigs, they're flavored pigs. Candy pigs.

I don't have anything on this candy pig idea yet but something like, a strawberry pink pig with a cute MLP-like cutie mark on his rear of a strawberry. Or blueberry and lime or something, idk. But somehow they appear like they're made out of candy, like gummi or something.
This is a rough idea of the scale- I might make the pig smaller, maybe. Need to do some more testing on how he'll get swallowed.

One more thing I did some experimentation with was a bendy-bone based setup for a tongue. It works pretty well however I think for the tongue I'll probably use spline IK... I think spline IK would be ideal for a tongue, it has a bit more flexibility for controlling the shape.

I also think a tongue with a bulb-thing on the end (sort of Yoshi-like) would be neat because idk, it'd be cool to see it going in and out of a hole.
So yeah, literally just beginning stuff for this, feeling things out and I'm actually pretty hyped to execute this idea. Thanks to everyone that voted for this idea!
(Also, I've decided to give this the code name "Deep Dish" because it's like, deep tongue action and the casual vore thing (the "Dish"))
