Deep Dish update + something

First of all happy new year!!

Been working on the lubing up shot (including fluids!). The fluid is a test bake so it's not as high quality as it'll be in the end... but I think this is good enough! I need to bake the dynamics like butt jiggle, figure out a way of showing lube being sucked out of the bottle in the butt... the character animation is pretty much done for this shot.

The lighting and stuff is still not final btw! I had no idea what this looks like in motion and rendered until now. The material on him has some weird ring on the cheeks for some reason... I know how to fix it I think (it's regions of the shader that are like less than 0 roughness maybe? Or too close to 0 so it causes weird artifacting...)

I've attached that below (like I said, they're draft renders, the final thing's lighting and stuff will look a lot nicer!). I've also worked on a couple other shots, not enough progress on any particular one that's worth showing right now though. I'm shooting to have Deep Dish done early this year.

Also... I've been kind of working on a game dev thing... again. I hate when I get in a game dev mood >_> It's in my blood or something I guess unfortunately and it consumes me... Good news is I have pretty much all of the gameplay system stuff programmed (for the scope of this, it's a very short and simple Zelda clone)

There's a lot about this experience I think is better as a mystery for now... but I intend to have FMV cutscenes for stuff, such as when Gyra first encounters the bug monsters (the look is still WIP, I'd like to try making it appear more old school without looking un-sexy...)

 

Sorry for this dumb diversion... however... I want to release a game in 2025, even if it's just a short, 20 minute or less long experience. I feel like if I finally get something interactive out of my system my random urge to waste time making games will stop.

Anyway, more stuff to come soon! Tomorrow I'm going to try finishing up that chest slapper bonus animation, that's almost done (just need to animate the other characters but their animation isn't too complicated or elaborate)

I haven't worked on that much but that'll be my next big project! I'm at the point where I have the raptors' foreskin rigged (need to animate the peeling action so it can go up/down). Basically the foreskin rig is the last major piece for them (then I can do some posing for an animatic of some kind or work on some test animation with all three of them)

Oh cool, good luck on the game! I know I had the same thing happening last year. I put several weeks into polishing and finishing a small Pico-8 game. And the only thing I got out of it was an even stronger desire to do a larger game! ;v;
