Misc things I've been working on

I've been feeling kind of meh lately, like... there's just stuff going on that's stressing me out a bit (just stuff like having to recently have duct work done which was really expensive, we just had the water heater replaced, that kind of thing. Some other stuff too but it's not really something I have control over) and I'm trying to get back into working on the long animation. But I also was working on a few things unrelated to anything. First is a chubby rabbit guy I wanted to do something with (but have given up on for now)

I tried to make a character quickly by kitbashing some existing stuff. I used this fat male base mesh ( https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/character/man/basemesh-fat-male ) and modified it quite a bit (like unsubdivided a few times because the topology is very dense but it's all quads so it unsubdivided very nicely, gave it a more appealing furry-type body shape, redid the butt topology, then attached some meat from https://wolkemeat.itch.io/ (the human meat)

For the head I used this baby lion head from a pack of baby animal base meshes I got awhile ago ( https://superhivemarket.com/products/wild-animal-baby ) and turned the head into a stylized rabbit head.

I do like making everything from scratch but it's a lot of fun taking base meshes that are more on the realistic side and massaging them/modifying them into something appealing in a furry way.

Then several days ago I was feeling sick (I think it's from sweetener in some sugar free sweet tea I bought when grocery shopping, it was a gallon and I drank it all in a few hours...) so at the time I started modeling a dragon head. A few days before that I was thinking about a redesign for the dark dragon (from the glamor hole animation from awhile ago) and sketched up this.

I started modeling it (just old fashioned polygon modeling) and at first it wasn't looking very good... then it started shaping up!

Then I drew over this to explore some ideas

I wanted to make him more feminine so I did! Then I started to do stuff to the 3d head based on the paint over.

Then I revisited the triceratops guy a bit (ignore the no eyes on the one on the right, that's the original and I didn't copy the eyes in when bringing it into a fresh .blend because I wasn't going to use the old eyes!). I wanted to make him more appealing in a furry sense. The original design is still pretty good but I think it sacrifices cuteness/lewd appeal for uniqueness.

I also cranked up the saturation on his scales (and started a new rig using rigify)

Idk might do some toying with the triceratops and dragon... I've had people ask about a follow up or tell me that was their favorite animation of mine. I'd like to do another one sometime, maybe not for awhile but I think it'd be fun to do some triceratops/dragon action again.

Anyway sorry for not being active or posting or anything... Trying to get some momentum back working on the gator/mitch thing and it's sort of going well (I'll be posting about that next)

Oh also attached a video showing the 4skin for the chubby rabbit guy, I got pretty far into rigging him! Still needs some tweaking and lattices to fix clipping in spots but it's good enough for soft to hard right now.
