Rinzo stroking animation + more

I've been reworking a game demo to be more interesting from a lewd perspective. Originally I wanted to have something playable showing off a part of the city, some of the major characters you'd meet (and some extra who'd be important later on)... but it's just too much modeling to have done in a timely manner... so I decided to scope things way down and have it be more lewd.

It sucks because there's a lot of interesting ideas for characters and things I wanted to tease as a glimpse at the kind of weirdness you'd encounter but... eh. It was me biting off more than I could chew as I often do. Here's some stuff that I came up with for potential things in the game at some point. (Excuse my subpar concept art, just trying to get ideas out so I can refine them later, they're not the best drawings!!)

This is a concept for Dyrant (one of the bunny boys you'd be hanging out with a lot!). He's less of a videogame/anime nerd and more of book reading/knowledge thirsty nerd. He knows a lot of math and engineering and chemistry, that sort of thing. Though the reason he studies a wide range of topics is to apply that knowledge to lewd pursuits. Making customized penetrable toys, the perfect lubricant, serums/supplements to increase fertility...

I don't think I've mentioned this (or if I have I should mention it again!) but the main theme of the game is "simple goal, steps to get there are full of unusual hijinks." And a big part of it will be encountering and uncovering urban legends and myths. Stuff that everyone says is nonsense but ends up being true (but usually after you've experienced the subjects of these urban legends you're unable to actually provide physical evidence so everyone ends up thinking you're a jokester)

For example, Swampboy (this world's version of bigfoot/skunkape). Wouldn't be in a demo since this would be like, mid-game stuff but you'd encounter him on your quest to get some berries that only grow in one place in the swamp. (he keeps one in his 4skin so he always has one to eat later on). People don't think he's real but he is! Though he isn't as ferocious or intimidating as the urban legend makes him sound. And he's thriving in the swamp, expertly avoiding close contact with cameras to the point where no one has ever taken a good, clear photo of him...

Someone who's obsessed with dragons (which are mythical beings "that don't exist" in this world). Can't decide on what gender (if any) they are. They'd be way into everything to do with dragons, feral and anthro, they have a dragon OC, they're always thinking about this urban legend: a beastly creature that's said to roam the streets at night who leaves big used condoms around, full of baby making fluid... this character would be wearing a funny, slightly modified dragon onesie all the time.

A character who's a bit crazy and thinks he's king of the city and lives in and around the abandoned subway tunnel system... he says a lot of weird things and most people think he's just being strange for the sake of it. But there seems to be more to it than that...

The rat guys would be a species of subterranean rat people. So the official explanation as to why the tunnels for the subway were abandoned part way through digging is because they kept finding sinkholes and it turns out the ground is not suited for a subway system... however the urban legend reason is they found an advanced underground civilization that scared workers off. The rat guys would have a hierarchy based on meat size. Some rat guys have enormous junk, some have tiny junk. If you have tiny junk, it's your duty to pleasure the well endowed rat guys because they're too big to do it alone! Their emperor has the biggest meat of them all and his right-hand-rat is the rat guy with the smallest junk.

(the rat people thing would be more of a chapter 2 or 3 thing... but the fake king tunnel guy would be highly involved in the rat people thing. And I thought it'd be great if you would of been able to see and talk to the fake king guy wandering around places in the city in a larger scope demo and that'd be your first real weird thing you'd encounter, something that hints at the game getting a lot stranger than it has been up to that point)

Yeah so that'd be some characters/stuff you'd encounter on your main goal which is "bang your best friend's step-mom." Idk how much of that would make into a full game though.



Anyway about a smaller (scoped down) demo... I've attached a bit of gameplay with some lewd needs interactions (one is sniffing panties to raise your arousal and the other is using the bed to unlock an FMV). The FMV is like... fine. Idk it's not my best work and I was having trouble doing the sound, like striking a balance between realistic sounds and way too loud squishing sounds. Maybe it's too quiet but idk... I didn't want it to be too loud either (imo too loud is more distracting that too quiet so if something is going to bad... better for it to be too quiet than loud)

The scope of a playable thing will take place within Fregus' step-mom's place. (though she's not there at the moment since she wouldn't be introduced until chapter 2). It's you, Fregus and his older brother, Theuk. He's the opposite of Fregus is many ways! He's way taller, perpetually grumpy and a bottom. (also he has small meat but he likes that)

(btw the environment is WIP, I only started this interior so it's missing a lot of stuff!)

(actually his renders are WIP also... I want to add more detail/fix some weird stuff with the clothes clipping but at the time I was trying to get something to use in-game and to test posing his model)

I gave Fregus a big bro for a couple reasons: I really think there should be some real-deal lewdness with penetration in the first 20 minutes of the game... since Fregus isn't a bottom I needed to make a second character who was a bottom. In order to lampshade me taking a shortcut and using a character I already finished as a base for another one, a brother character is a perfect fit. (They're related so of course they look alike!)

Like... if I'm making a small chunk of a game and may/may not actually develop it into a full experience, it should have a satisfying, juicy, messy penetration lewd sequence. That way if I can't deliver on something bigger at least there's something nice a player can experience even if it's a short experience.

I also made some pop-up bubble things for the various warnings of when they're low (I think it's pretty obvious what they are! But from left to right starting from the top: entertainment, bladder, hunger, hygiene, comfort, social and tiredness)

But that'll come in a few different flavors like butt and meat.

Also made animations for the needs warnings (some use the same animation though. Bladder, hunger, hygiene, comfort and tiredness have unique animations of him when they're below 10 points)

Oh also I'm pretty sure I didn't mention this in the last post (because I'm pretty sure I started working on this after that post!) but NPCs can interact with stuff in the same way as the player now. I've attached a video of that below! It's not that interesting yet since I haven't actually made needs animations and sprites for anyone else but the main character. But fortunately the way I made the needs interactions system lends itself nicely to being used by other characters. (like... as I was first programming it awhile ago I started out thinking "any character object should be able to use stuff" but as things got more complicated I drifted away from that... but it wasn't too hard to rework it so any actor can have needs objects interactions)

Like I was against having NPCs be able to interact with stuff, seemed too difficult to do/maybe not worth it... but it seemed like when I show people the game the first thing they ask is "will npcs use stuff too?" and augh... it would be cool if they did >_> but I knew it would be a pain in the ass. It turned out that getting the interactions systems to work with NPCs was easy, it's the systems for determining what the NPC should be doing from moment to moment, finding an object that can satisfy a critically low need and then finding a path to the object was a pain in the ass.

It's still not perfect, occasionally there's a weird bug or two with pathfinding... but it works most of the time. And they're not like, game breaking bugs. It's stuff that resolves upon room exit/entry since NPCs reset most of their stuff when you change rooms. If I were to do a fuller game I'd want to rewrite some of the code but for a small scope demo it works fine enough.
