"The Legend of Vox Machina" Season 2 - Episode 1

As a long time fan I have to say I thought they did really good with the season premiere. Ya I got my nitpicks, like I think the attack was much better built up in the show and much more shocking, but I feel like that is pretty evenly balanced out by the spectacle of the show which was excellent. Like my favorite addition was umbrasyl raining acid on the people, what a really great concept. There are some other changes but I mostly don’t mind because they got all the emotional beats down good. Gilmore was close to dying in the show but the context was fairly different. (Side note: I just got the dragon lance reference). There was a subplot about a skull that promised to grant a wish which sent grog into an almost murder frenzy and keyleth into an in character panic attack. Uriel and most of the npcs were also killed off screen in the show. Overall I’d say they did great with the nature of the limitations of what they are adapting. Also it’s ironic you asked if Percy had bad rolls in the show because he actually had pretty ridiculous luck in the first campaign. They actually named his die the golden snitch and called him the anti weaton. Unfortunately the golden snitch was stolen in between campaigns one and two so he no longer has his godly favor anymore. (I am not even joking, I love this show). But none of that matters because next week is Vasselhiem which means mother f—kn VICTOR! Which means everyone gets to experience the majesty of victor. The man to top Gilmore as the greatest npc in all of role playing games! Prepare yourself to subject your eyeballs to one of the greatest inventions in fiction ever of all time!

Glad you are back with this show. This season is really good, with a great opening and greater focus on the characters. Can't wait to see your reactions to future episodes, especially the 3 episode cliffhangers they leave you in. This show releases in 3 episode bulk so. Also can't wait for your return to the campaign.
